Hi! I hope I can answer all your questions about the dos and don'ts on feeding your rat(s). If there are any questions that you have that I did not answer, Please ask me by posting here :) Thanks!

***Rats Don't Over Eat!***

You might wonder "When do i feed my rat? and how often?"
They should have food at all times. No they wont over eat or anything like that, and they wont become over weight from eating too much. They eat until they feel that they are full. They can become over weight from the foods you allow them to eat though. Fatty foods will make a fatty ratty. Simple as that.

The Good Stuff:
*Carrots
*Sweet potatoes ( sweet potatoes must be cooked, never raw, which can be toxic)
*Peas
*Green beans
*Fresh corn
*Corn on cob (huge hit!)
*Strawberries
*Melons of all kinds
*Blueberries
*Raspberries
*Plums
*Apples and applesauce
*Bananas
*Grapes
*Rat Food
*Broccoli
*Squash
*Cucumber (in moderation)
*Zucchini

The Bad Stuff:
Blue cheese
Licorice
Peanut butter
Raw dry beans or raw peanuts (roasted peanuts or beans from frozen packages are ok)
Raw sweet potato
Raw red cabbage and brussel sprouts
Raw artichokes
Green bananas
Green potato skin and eyes
Wild insects
Other Animal Foods (rabbit food, cat food, dog food, ect.)
Rhubarb
Raw bulk tofu
Orange juice
Raw onion
No matter who you are,
what you look like, or where you're from...
You deserve love & acceptance
just like anyone else!
