Missing Ducks ~Please help~

Not sure where this would go so I put it here.
My pet ducks have flown off due to something scaring them one night and I miss them alot...
I'm posting this in case anyone here has seen them.
Here's what they look like:

The Appleyard (back) is Puddleduck and the Mallard (front) is Frank. They never leave each other's side and if you find one you'll most likely find the other.

Frank is extremely friendly and will try to glomp your legs wanting attention. (This is what I fear most. People could think he's 'attacking' them and he'd be separated from Puddleduck, his mate, or even worse...)
Puddleduck is the same way, only a bit more shy then Frank. (What I fear about her is the fact that her kind are uncommon in the wild and someone will probably guess she's a pet, leading to who knows what fate...)

I only have one lead on their wereabouts: In Westlake Village, California someone saw them on a dock and she befriended them until one day she couldn't see them again. My guess would be migration.

But yeah, if ANYONE sees these two I need to know ASAP so I can know they are safe and hopefully...bring them home. If anyone does see them, I'd like a picture for confirmation.

This may be a crazy request but I won't rest or get rid of the hole in my heart until I find them. Hopefully alive and together.

If they are migrating then chances are they will come back in the spring. My mum raises call ducks, she clips their wings to prevent this from happening but someone who got ducklings from her last year had this happen and the ducks came back a few days later. Hope they come back, let us know if they do!

We were going to do that the next day. We should have done it sooner.

The fact that they don't is the scary part. People will think they're wild and if they get into trouble... I may never see them again.

Sadly, those ducks look a lot like just about thousands of other ducks, so the lead you have is probably just some random ducks. Your missing ducks will probably come back in the spring, because I would guess they are just migrating. If they don't come back I'm not sure what to tell you... Sorry to hear about them missing though...

They flew off sometime in mid-October 2011 and we only had them a few months. The place where we got them was a place where they sell birds and I don't think they'd go back there as they have a home now.

They flew off around mid-October 2011 so the migrating thing makes sense. As for the fact they might just be random ducks the person saw, it's not often you see an Appleyard Duck and Mallard duck as a pair. Plus, she mentioned their exact personalities and habits and that out of all the ducks, they were the most friendly and would come to her every day.

She said that if she sees them in the spring she'll call Puddleduck by her name, she comes when her name's called.
