Palominos do rock.
Though pure black horses are my weakness.
I just die whenever I see one.

We have a few at our barn that are for breeding.

He's a cute little DEVIL! I guess that's what you get when you take a neglected horse and bring it back into health. XD

@Samsam: My trainer thinks that it may have been a mix of fresh-ness and bugs. >_< He has a very low bug tolerance, and an arena surrounded by trees makes even more bugs. I was so stupid... I should've lunged him before I rode, but I had given him a crazy workout the other day, and I figured he'd tire quickly in the heat. But he was OK before that direction change. :C
I'm sorry that Doc is being so bad... maybe have your trainer ride him?

@Horse_girl123: It did hurt bad, but I'm feeling better. xD I'm just pissed that I'll be too sore to ride tomorrow! Lemon is so handsome! <3 I love his face markings.

Well *scratches head* I wish I could have someone ride him...But the man who rides him, works a lot, he gets half of Sat. of and all of Sun. off, but he works over most holiday's. So I would feel really bad to bug him whenever he's off. And my instructor says to power through it, and stay strong, which I try to do constantly, but sometimes it's overwhelming *screams the rest* and no one gets it!!

Ergg.

*sighs*

I'm glad your feeling better. And is U-U (to all other readers this is a sort of inside joke) ( <-that was stupid ) feeling any better? I"m glad he didn't hurt himself!!

Okay so the horse I rode after Hemi, and before Doc, Missile, has a big o' abscess on his chest, I feel soooo bad for him. We think he got it when a horse kicked him o-o And then he got an affection, and the a abscess. We we got there, I guess the the owner of Doc, Ricky, Had popped it, and cleaned but it had a thick, oozy, green, new layer of puss on it. So while brat cousin was riding I had to clean it out, and put that horribly stinky medicine on it >.> Missile is to sweet to deserve that!

I understand <3 He sounds like how Trickster used to be. D:< I'm sorry that he can't ride him for you, but what about your instructor?

Thanks! U-U (haha) is fine, probably tired. Taylor was planning on riding him a second time today, but I left right after the fall.

Ow. D: That poor horse!

I doubt it, she says that I need to work with him, make him mine, own him. I, me, alone have to train him. And if I fall of and break something, then boo-ho I guess...I'm absolutely shaken to ride known, I'm losing confidence, little by little ;-;

I'm amusing that Taylor is the instructor? I bet she rides 'em hard huh? The way you put it, it seems that why.

Awww. D: Well, maybe lunge him before riding?

Taylor is one of my trainers, yup! Well, she is an excellent horsewoman - went to collage for it and grew up with them. She is very nice to horses, but if they misbehave, the way to tell them that what they did was wrong is to ride them until they are very tired. She worked him really hard so that he would regret bucking - she would never do something to hurt a horse, as in using a whip to punsih

Same concept to get a horse to stop. Do something to make them want to do it.

Make them do a circle every time they fail to stop when you ask. Then they'll WANT to stop.

I got to ride in Eric Lamaze's old saddle today!!!!!! It has been on Hickstead!!! It is an amazing saddle, comfy, you can feel your horse under you, and it kind of holds my leg. I want to buy one, but I am going to wait till I finish growing and get a horse becuase it is 5,000 bucks.
