Do you ride horses?

I think its ok to not ride a big horse, if you dont feel you can.
They can scence when the rider is uncomfortable/unconfident, and
that may be why he acts that way. :] I dont see a problem with
wanting to ride smaller horses instead of bigger ones, or opposite. :]
The rider feeling safe&confident is what really matters, in my opinion~

Any tips on barrel racing?I have never done barrels but I want to start....please help.

I love big horses more than small I was started on a 16 hand horse and Ive never been afraid and always loved it. But I do know some people dont like that distance from the ground like my little sister.
But Starfighter Im reading a book called the body language of horses it says that horses only act like that if they have had a bad experience with you or you are triggering a bad memory, did something happen when you first got him or something?

No,He just took a not liking for me for some reason...Thats how I fell off him...

You said Baily was abused, correct me if im wrong? Perhaps someone your hight...a teen/child was around him/took part in the abuse.

Hmm,Well Baileys Ex owner came to see him long time back she had a son smaller than me,I assume He done some of it Cuz bailey bit him really hard

That might be your reason. Maybe he just doesn't like children. But, then again, sometimes horses are finickey about who they trust.

He does like children He has had like millions of kids near him and around him,He has no bother with kids

Yes I ride horses, I love it, it's the only way to be fully satisfied with life, in my opinion.

Its super fun! Even though I dont ride them myself, I love it. <3
You may want to go to a rodeo event and talk around to people there, or if you have a trainer, talk to them.
If you google/yahoo/whatever it, you should get some tips also:
