Thought I'd share a video- this is me jumping my brother's beautiful Emilia bareback. He cut the video too early though, if he'd have kept filming for a minute longer he would have caught me falling right over her shoulder xD

Actually...I don't no the sex or breed. My dad told me he like a horse and we would go see him. But he is a neighbor's horse, her name is Lacy...the person who is loaning the horse to me. But I can't wait to ride him/her. WOW! I don't anything about a horse I might be loaning DX

Aww, thats okay, its better to get a horse you know nothing about than not have one you know everything about xD

BTW, does anyone know who Monty Roberts is? Its a random question, but Im just curious, and if you do, do you agree with his methods?

I know who he is, and he is a natural horsemanship guy, right?
But I have never seen/used his methods, so I don't really have an opionion on him.
I think natural horsemanship is awesome, though, when executed correctly (:

I'm going to be rising this spring, start training for jumping and riding overall, but my mom keeps making up excuses.

First, it was to keep my room clean, then it was a list of chores, and now it's till the frist thaws out of the ground. Help me some how?

11misc- I know who Monty Roberts and I've watched him on YouTube. I completely agree with the methods, he never forces the horses to do things and they aren't scared or nervous either. And they seem to be really effective. I wish I could be like that.

Soooo ... I'm not even sure when my lessons are starting. lol I get them "free" since I'm working at the ranch this summer. I think I will stick with Thunder Bill as my lesson horse. <3 He's a black Percheron/Quarter Horse cross. He's so cute and he looks funny with half his winter coat still on. We were helping the kids groom all the horses before they went on the trail and the hair was EVERYWHERE. I looked like hairy Bigfoot after grooming a little chestnut pony. XD Can't wait until that's over with. The weather is finally warm now, so it should be over soooon.

So excited to be working over there... it took me two days, but I finally can recognize all 20 horses in the pasture. Plus my big Bill comes right up to me. <3 He's such a big sweetheart. I made a few new pony friends while I was there. Star and Cinnamon. Star is hilarious... if you lead him and are in front of him, he will nudge you in the butt or back. XD He won't bite or anything, so he was just pushing me along the trail while I was playing with his nose and lips behind my back. And Cinnamon was being pretty snippy, but she gets along best with me, so I always led her down the trail.

This summer should be fun. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to buy Bill a new halter that just I will use while I'm there. Another girl is using a horse named Amigo and she bought him a neon blue one and a matching blue/green/purple lead rope to match it. It looks so good on him! I was thinking about buying Bill a lime green one. That way I will always have one that fits him whenever I need it. Usually I have to search through like 40 of them. XD

Jazz is like Bleu except light brown!!! Jazz is Beautiful...But she is quite young she is backed though
