pat cant jump ,hes young but he dosnt like jumps at all plus a show environments makes him go silly

and she killed it by not cheacking on the poor mare ,and she blames the old owners whos land it was on

it got out and hurt its self and nobody knew for 2 days till she came to see her mare, her story is they starved the mare (in 2 days) so she got out but everyone knows a horse wont starve to the point of geting out by then

That's what I mean, she might train him to jump and be good at shows. When we started training Danyna to jump she didn't like it at all, now she perks up and gets excited with jumps. And I don't think it was her fault if the horse died, cause 2 days isnt really long, maybe she just couldnt get out to so it. If she does have a history with that kind of thing though, I do see your point in not selling a horse to her.

Hmm, that's too bad. But you know, sometimes things come up, and it probably wasn't out of spite that she didn't see her horse. I would imagine that she felt pretty awful after. And anyways, it's not like she did something to hurt her horse, horses are very accident prone themselves.

Or the horse could have Colic-ed and now one was there.............
Just a thought......

Horse can go from okay to bad with in hours.

My friends horse scratched it corena. They got it checked out by the vet and she said it was fine. I go back to the barn the later that week and the horse was on an IV. The poor mare is now living at the vet until she gets better...... Horse like Toppy said do hurt them selves a lot. My othee friends horse runs into fences and comes back all scrtached up. He is a very silly pony, though......

I have 13 year old friends that are taking on project ponies and teaching them to jump and stuff. If the horse is good its not that hard. We trained an ex-westren pleasure quarter horse to jump 2'6 like a hunter in 3 months and are still biluding up the hight. He is a good horse. He wants to please and always puts in 110%. He was not the best horse etheir. He comes from a background of abuse and is very terotrial in his stall. He flipped out when you put anything on his back. But after some hard work, patince, and TLC he got better.

You may be able to convince your trainer to let you take on a horse over the summer. That is what I did and I am going to again this summer with this paint pony who thinks he is a bronc (I love him though).

Awwww! I know a pony that way, her name is Lady, she is a...liver paint, I think? Haven't seen her in a long time, don't think I'll see her again either, :(
