no, higher being better temperament. They scored I believe in the 80s for temperament out of a hundred.

I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium"

I do apologize for my error. But it's not only agressiveness. It's also physical capability. A beagle may be just as aggressive as a pit bull, but the pitbull will be a bigger threat since it it physically stronger.
my sig has been godawful ever since i got an account and im finally gettin around to prettyin it up so plz deal with it for a lil longer ty ur a peach

My mother has passed away, and I won't be as active for awhile. Sorry to everybody who needs me, just send me a PM.

Pit bulls are strong dogs, but so are German shepherds, rottweilers, great danes, labs, golden retrievers, Burmese Mountain Dogs and many others, a lot of which pit bulls scored higher on the temperament test. In fact pits were once nicknamed the nanny dog because their so great with children although they do tend to be little dog aggressive but they can be trained.

And that whole locking jaw thing makes no sense (I know you didn't mention it but I think it is important) they have the same bone structure as any dog because if they didn't they would be considered a different species. They do however have the bite and shake that terriers have because if you have noticed their full name is American Pit Bull Terrier.

I think that Pit Bulls shouldn't be banned and in all the countries that they have been banned, should allow them back in! But I also think that you should have to have a breeding lisence to breed "dangerous dogs" such as bully breeds and mastiffs and so on, it isnt fair to ban a whole breed of dog when it is down to the few that havent been properly bred/trained! :D

I think you need a license to breed any dog.

Thank you! Finally! Someone who knows the REAL history of a pit, and mine, May, she is the nicest dog you would ever meet. And guess what? She was starved and abused through her entire puppy hood, now she is scared of anything hard you swiftly bring into her site. Pit bulls are better than you think, get to know one, they will become your favorite dog. My mother was once thinking that pits were terrible. Now my mother can't let her go, and we also have two 6-month babies, two cats, and a hermet crab. She is gentle, give put bulls a chance!!!! Also, those big " put bulls" you see? Well those are NOT real blood pits!! They are mixed with boxers and bulldogs, that is their temper. Pure reds are sweet if you give them a chance.

i agree. yes they are big, BUT they are supposed to be family dogs like them too, i have one and the only thing it killed was one laptop and a couch. I would trust them with my life if i had to, AND THE LOCKING ITS JAW THING IS A MYTH NOT FACT

I've kinda lost sight of the point you're trying to make. I just think you should have a license to own pits and other agressive dogs.
