I have owned..Way too many pets in the past. Some of which had to be given away during family moves, or due to health issues. All of them were very well cared for, though, so the list goes like this.
100+ Guppies, never buying pregnant females again...
2 Cockatiels, 1m/1f
7 Budgies (petshop parakeets), three when I was ~9 and 4 when I was 15
5 hamsters, 3m/2f, two when I was ~7, three when I was ~17
1 Guinea Pig, female that was bought when she had Ringworm and had to be put down v.v
7 Leopard Geckos, at least 3m/2f, other two were too young to tell/were given away. The five known ones passed last year, oldest being 4 years old. A bad shipment of crix and mealies wiped out a bunch of reptile pets in our area.
2 Cats, 1m/1f. Female was given away a good 7 years ago, as she was too wild to handle. Male is technically a stray from our current neighborhood, but he won't go near anyone else. <3 My Buddy.
2 Rats, both female. A cream hooded and a black hooded dumbo dwarf. They were given to good homes around V-Tines day, as I could no longer care for them with my health issues.
4 Chinese Dwarf Hamsters, 2m/2f. My niece's pets. First came Kiki, then the twin brothers a while after she passed. The brothers were both a little over two when they passed, and now we have Gigi, a mottled white CDH.
2 Dogs. A female Yorkshire Terrier named Daisy, and a male Pappion named Willy. They're going on 7 and 8 years old, respectively.
1 Wild Bat, age unknown. Few years back, my mother and sister were cleaning the back porch, and found a screeching little bat under a box. Carefully scooped it into a box with a folded, warm towel, fed it mealworms twice a day (this was before the bad batch, and in winter)...It left after a few days, and has come back to the porch to roost over my head almost once a week since then. Little brown, shaggy looking thing now, know it's the same one due to an odd marking on it's back. Had a second bat out there with it one night as a comparison, and it's the only one that will actually try landing on my shirt.
That's the list!
Gotta love mix-matching armor/scenery for favorite pets.
