They tend to get colds a lot, symptoms like stuffy nose and pink eyes, also they have mini-seizures sometimes, but it is a common thing for them and doesn't harm them.
All in all they are great dogs and although they have a few health risks they make a great addition to a family.
I am not really a big fan of beagles, sorry. My cousin's dad's ex-girlfriend has one and it really isn't healthy. I don't know why they don't put her down. She can't walk, he tongue won't fit in her mouth, and she might have cancer. But she has a big lump on her eye. She is suffering and I can't stand to see her like that.
I also am trying to stay away from hunting dogs, even though many dogs I like are hunting dogs. I think I should stay with herding dogs or lap dogs for now.
Weird...o-o you should get a blue-tick beagle (no,they do not have ticks XD ) I have one i n real life, and she is one of the healthiest dog's I've ever seen. The only problem I've ever seen her have is that she had an ear infection once, but we put drops in it once every few days, and she got better! She's the cutest dog ever XD (not considering golden retriever puppies and bernese mountain dogs XD ) but she's a total food hog XD

Belgian Tervuren- These dogs are very intelligent and are a type of Belgian Sheepdog. Their coats requires brushing twice a week and they need daily exercise. Their temperament toward humans is very loving and they can be protective. A Tervuren's coat is very adaptive to climate and temperature change.
Irish Red and White Setter- You may not like this one, but this is one of my personal favorites. This dog breed also requires regular exercise but has a more manageable coat. This breed is high spirited and kindly and should get along fine with any other dogs. The average height of a Red and White is around the mid twenties.
If you would like to know more, visit the AKC website or any other dog show pages. They will have anything you need to know. :)
