Dog suggestions?

Hi! I know this is dumb, so I am sorry to bother you, but I am looking to get a new dog sometime next year. I need to get an idea of what kind of dog I would like to get so I can research it then start saving up to get it. I was looking to get an old english sheepdog, but its too big (but yet my sister is getting a freakin' lab ~I hate labs~). So, seeing that there are hundreds of people here on CS, I would like to know what dog you think would be a great addition to my family.

Here are a few requirments it should have:
~It must be a healthy breed
~I like fluffy, but it doesn't matter
~I hate chiuauas and dachsaunds

Thank you so much for helping! I might give out a free pet for someone who helps greatly, but it will just be an uncommon. I do not have to give out the pet- it is only for someone who really deserves it!

So Far I like:
~Skye Terrier
~Pomeranian
~American Cocker Spaniel
~King Charles Spaniel
~Bearded Collie
~Airedale Terrier
~Dutch Sherperd
~Boxer
~Besenji
~Bedlington Terrier

I have considered to get:
Chinese Crested
Bedlington Terrier
~Pitbull
~Cane Corso

The dog MUST get along with my little angel Titan, I don't want any of my pets getting into a fight

A responsible breeder will have healthy stock, so the breed being healthy shouldn't matter UNLESS you get a shelter pet. =)

How much time do you have for training and excersize?
Would you like a smart dog that gets bored easily, or a laid back dog thats willing to learn occasionally?
What size dog are you looking to get?
Will the dog have a purpose or just be a 'pet'?
How much time can you spend of grooming?
Do you want a laid back dog or a high strung energetic dog?
What body structure do you like the look of? Bulky and muscled, sight hound, toy?
How much time are you home and do you want a puppy or an adult?

I always try to push sighthounds because they are just great dogs. Whippets resemble much smaller greyhounds. They are laid back when in the house and only need a short sprint once or twice a day or a long walk once a day or so. They are generally not destructive, but love to learn new things and catch on pretty quick. They have short sleek coats so grooming isn't an issue, however they may need a jacket in the winter. They are not generally nippy, nor aggressive to other animals. They usually WILL chase small furries, being a sight hound, but growing up with animals they have a much less chance of it. Getting from a good breed they are not timid, but may be a little standoffish until the now the person. =)
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

Ok thanks. I have researched the whippet on friday, but they are not good with cats, and I have 2 cats and one dog. But if they had no problems with cats I would consider them.

I will fill out the form so it will be a bit easier to find a dog ^-^

How much time do you have for training and excersize? 1-1hr 45 min.
Would you like a smart dog that gets bored easily, or a laid back dog thats willing to learn occasionally? Well I am going to take it to dog classes, so it really doesn't matter.
What size dog are you looking to get? 35-65 lbs.
Will the dog have a purpose or just be a 'pet'?
How much time can you spend of grooming? 2-4 days a week
Do you want a laid back dog or a high strung energetic dog? Doesn't matter. I would take it on daily walks/runs and let it run around the football field
What body structure do you like the look of? Bulky and muscled, sight hound, toy? Bigger than a toy, smaller than a sighthound.
How much time are you home and do you want a puppy or an adult? I need to get a puppy, and I am home more than 18 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekeds.

I recommend a Jack Russel Terrier.
They're hardy little dogs with a lot of energy, but they are very loving with their owners. They tend to be intelligent and independent, so training can be a bit of a challenge, but I find I bond more with my two Jack Russel terrors terriers than I have with any other dog I've trained.

Thanks, but sorry, my dog hates jack russells. One has once ran around his kennel barking and teasing him and he got so mad. Now everytime my dog sees it, he will attack it. Thats what a little dog gets for (also) chasing me down the street, and messing with a pitbull mix :)

I would go with a Clumber Spaniel if I were you! I love them!
