hello everyone, recently my little 8-12 week old kitten Wiz has been getting way too rough with me and our other two cats Bell and Beaker. Luckily they aren't rough back but I am afraid he'll be quite mean when he's older.. any suggestions?

Little Wiz is just playing, your other cats know he's just a baby so they keep claws sheathed but if he goes too far they can stop him quickly (My ginger kitten used to bother my elder and he would just flatten him with one paw if he got annoyed).

As for you, he's going to pounce on anything that moves, watch your fingers, and don't show fear to him. If you flinch away he'll know you don't like it and will keep doing it, scold him if he gets too rough

Thank you. <3
I just wanted to make sure if everyone thought this was okay lel.

Usually it's around 6 months, before their first heat.

It's about their weight, where I am. I have two feral kittens that we're trying to tame so they don't panic and rip their stitches. The vet told us they have to weigh... three pounds, I think.

I heard mention of food over here!

One thing I keep in mind whenever I am shopping for cat food is that cats are obligate carnivores. This means that they cannot digest material that isn't meat, and that they must have meat in their diets to be healthy. The main thing I can suggest is read the label of your cat's food. Ideally, the first five ingredients listed should be meat. Grain free is great, but if you can't afford it at least look for something that does not have corn in it, as corn is the number one allergen in pet food.

I'm in the US, so I'm not sure what is and is not available in the UK, but my cats get fed Orijen dry food for now. I am in the process of researching a species appropriate prey model raw diet so that I can feed both them and my ferrets the absolute best diet for them!

I will say that I am not a fan of Science Diet. For the price they charge for it, you can get better quality food that doesn't have as many fillers in it and is better for your pet. If anyone here is wanting more specialized dietary help for their cats, feel free to pm me! I could go on for hours about animal nutrition haha

Hm, it must be different here
the vet/foster agency that stole our kitten told us that she would have to be fixed at around 6 months.

It's done by age here too, and six months is the age here as well.

Well, we caught them (they were dumped on our property) and we're not sure exactly how old they are. We still have like five strays running around, needing to be fixed.
