Are Siamese cats supposed to be mean? I got a black and white cat (Not going to say tuxedo cat because that makes some people mad? >.<) and from the moment we got him home he scratched the furniture and attacked everyone. The only one 'Socks' didn't attack was out other tom cat, Barley. I think Barley can get along with just about any cat, he is a sweet yellow tabby version of Socks. So any ideas why Socks is so mad all the time. (He also has a range of strange meows: MEOOWWWEEP, Mee, and MEOWOWOW)

B.T.W Socks is a Siamese mix I think, I got him from someone giving out free kittens and his sister has the Siamese markings, and Barley is a American short-hair that I found behind a garbage bin.

A cat breed is not just based on the coat, it is also the bone structure, temperment, ect.. But other than that a cat does not just meow when angry and yes cats have a variety of meows. My cat usually meows when I talk to him
when he is hungry, or he wants to be pet. There are so many reasons why he could be meowing constiantly, just find out the times he meows and make a list of possible reasons. Kinda like a detective! Where he is, what time, the length, and how the mood around him can change reasons why he is meowing. For about three days see if he meows at a specific time each day or when he does meow think to yourself, 'could he want me to pet him? Is it near feeding time?' Also ask yourself similar questions. Also if he is not nutered than that could be it, though then there would be other symptoms. Hope this helps c:

Im treating him the best I can, warm blankets and just letting him rest. He is also going to be getting a new collar soon! He has the Martha Stewart green bow one now and it is just in bad condition, I have to keep cutting the fuzz that is around it. Last night he was such a cuddle kitty, he curled up and put his head on my cheek ♥

I have caught a stray cat! Cute little orange moggy male. He's a sweet guy but kinda feral. He is not happy about being in the dog kennel I have him in right now! He was going after my smallest hen and had been hanging around awhile. So I managed to catch him today!

My mom is going to let me keep him for a couple days (maybe a bit longer) to tame him down and get him using a litter box before we take him to the shelter. I figure that will give him a better chance at getting a home rather than a semi wild cat who doesn't use a box.

He's going to stay in my large dog kennel outside. (Under cover and with some blankets for warmth of course!)


That's him^ Now he needs a temporary name! Any suggestions?

Be sure to check if he is a lost pet or some idiot's cat who lets him just roam the neighborhood.

I have him on a lost pets site, but I'm pretty sure he is a stray. He's been hanging around our area for months and going after my chickens for nearly as long. He isn't fixed nor tame, so I seriously doubt he belongs to anyone.

Ugh, that or his owner sucks. Marty was found abandoned in the woods on a private property, acting like a wild fool and intact. Nobody claimed him after many attempts. He had a collar though, so he obviously had an owner before.

Either way, me taming him down and taking him to the shelter seems like the best way for him to wind up in a good home.
