Forgot the name of the cat and who it was though. My memory doesn't do well remembering certain animals and people... not my forte.

Yes I find it both cute and weird thank you :D

So, how is everyone and their cats going?

I have a four day weekend, Friday to Monday, and I was hoping to spend it with one of my cats, Angel, since I don't spend too much time with her these days.

But I found out that this morning at around 8:40, she had been hit by a car and killed </3

I mean, I've had cats die on me - three and all were kittens. Two were still born kittens and one snapped her neck somehow (she was a weak kitten), and they were Angel's kittens, but I wasn't as upset as I am now.

It was my sister who told me, and when she did I thought she was lying at first, since she likes to do that, but her tone of voice told me she wasn't, she was nearly in tears and she never liked Angel at all. After that I realised she wasn't lying and thats when I broke down.

She said that someone who lived across the street from us told her a cat had bee hit, and had shown her the cats body - my sister said that as soon as she saw it she knew it was Angel, since she's the only calico on our street (Excluding a dilute calico that lives on our street too, the cat hardly leaves her garden.)

The person who told my sister then got their dad to get a plastic bag and put her in it, for later so we can bury her. None of my parents were home at the time, and my sister can't bare seeing dead bodies.

I wanted to go out and see her, because I thought it was only a dream, or maybe a different cat because I desperately didn't want it to be her, but my sister wouldn't let me.

I've been crying for almost 7 hours - sometimes I calm down for about five minutes, but then I burst into tears again because I keep thinking of her.

Angel was my first cat - I remember the moment when my sisters friend rang us four years ago and asked if we wanted kittens, because she had found a litter of five stray kittens. Me and my sister both got one. My sister got a black and white kitten, a male, and mine was said to be white and brown, and the only female.
They arrived on my sisters birthday, April the 18th. My sisters friend came to the door with a cat carrier - at the front and wanting to get out was a black and white kitten, his eyes starting to turn yellow. Shying at the back, scared out of her mind, was a small white kitten with orange and black patches, her eyes starting to turn amber gold.

I gained her trust, and soon Angel was a outgoing kitten - much more outgoing then her lazy brother. She'd attack your feet playfully and swat at your hair if it was long enough and you tempted her with it. At night she'd climb up onto the bed and curl up on your neck, while Ninja, her brother, would curl himself around your head.

After the first year, Angel had kittens - two black and white kits, a male and female who were named Mufasa and Nala.
A few months after, she had three more, all black and white with unique markings. Two females and a male. We called the male Patches, as he looked white with black patches. One of the females were named Streak - she looked like a tuxedo cat, and had a streak of white above her nose. Then the last one was Midnight, a small black kitten with a white muzzle. Her neck broke a few weeks later.

After Midnight had died, Ninja had gone missing, and Angel was distressed and upset.

The next year, she had two more litters of kittens, both had four in them. The first has two ginger and white tabbies, one brown and white tabby, and one calico, like her. Sadly, one of the ginger and white tabbies, and the calico, were still born. My mum wouldn't let me try and help them breath (which I have seen still-born animals come back to life, you just have to help them). The brown and white tabby, who was a female, was named Kiara. The other kitten, who was a male, was named Simba.
The second had two ginger and white tabbies, and two black and white kittens. They were called Pink-eye, Ginger, Little and Pepsi. Three she-cats and a tom (Pink-eye being the tom).

After that, she then had four more kittens. All black and white. Their names were Rafiki, Sarabi, Kovu and Dash, three toms and a she-cat. Every time she was pregnant, and was kept inside, she would not leave my side, and would basically cry every time I went to school or went out, and all of her kittens were born when I was around, no matter what. After that, we got her spayed, so she couldn't have anymore kittens. She became calm and just liked to laze around outside in the warm weather.

So she lived calmly, only getting angry whenever we took stray cats in and re-homed them. I never thought she'd be a cat to die at this age. And I know her - she's a smart cat, and knows to move out of the way when a car is coming.

But people around here will see a cat on the road, and instead of slowing down, they will put their foot flat down on the pedal and kill the cat.

I just wish it hadn't of happened to my cat </3

I loved her so much - I've had a dog for 12 years, and despite only having around for 4 or 5 she was easily my favourite pet, she always likes to cuddle and for me to pat her - and we'd always rub our heads together. Every day after school she'd be sitting on my dads car, waiting for me to get home and she'd greet me immediately. She'd be waiting every day for me, but now she wont be there anymore.

My family know how much I loved her, and they keep asking me if I'm alright or if I need anything, and I tell them I am when I'm really not. Angel was basically my best friend - She cheered me up when I was sad and was thee when I just needed something fluffy to cuddle with. She listened to me when no one else would.

I just hate some people these days, purposely running over a cat that was a loved pet.

Oh my gosh I am sooo sorry for Angle I really have people and the place I live is no better: hurt abused cats live on our streets no one cares for them at all they are sick and they fight allot and this is why cats should not be let outside. The cats there have had no shots so they are crazy sick and they well have kittens allot. I have seen so many ran over cats that no one give a darn about them it makes me cry I really want to move far far away from this place because of these poor cats.

I have a Marcel tabby cat he has huge eyes and a tiny nose he is so cute.
I use to have a orange and white cat but we had to put her down when she was about 16.
A boy in my class had to put his cat down and then he got another cat and about after a month they had to put that cat down because it had some liquid in its stomach and soon it would have exploded.
When I was a little girl I had an imaginary friend and when I grew up he came back. He's called The Doctor. He's from somewhere else. He has a box called the Tardis, that's bigger on the inside and can travel anywhere in time and space. I ran away with him and we've been running ever since!

My cat was dumped in a ditch at 4 months old (approx) in October ,her voice cracked looking for her mother and now she cant do a proper meow anymore .Our friends found her but they had to many pets already so we got to keep her.<3 MY FIRST CAT<3.Her name is Luna which is Spanish for moon. She is now queen of my pets even my labradore and Jack russle ( Sandy and Pip)(both abandoned) she loves watching my fish swim and she is a bit of a LUNAtic (get it!) Now she lives a happy life and all she has to do is do a famous bird purr (it sounds like a cute little bird doing one little purr) and we will be at her command (even my dad who used to hate cats because he loves birds adores Luna) I have the exact amount of days we had her in my signature

Ahhh, animals.

Clemmy, mom's bf's ex's boxer came over today and she being all derpy, hyper and excited which was freaking my cat, Boo, out. Mom's BF had just went out and bought them food when we'd been out since yesterday afternoon so Boo thought he was starving. When I poured the food, Boo immediately ran over and started munching. Then Clemmy came over to see what was going on and what the food was. Boo hissed at her and gave her a good smack right on her nose. Clemmy's totally fine but that's what she gets for bugging the cats while they're eating.

Tang has smacked Miya, and Aleaha has playfully batted at Sadie, but I've never heard them hiss at my dogs. Maybe it's something because we the dogs are bigger, or Tang is just too submissive to do it. Dunno. Tang has never been one to growl or hiss. The first time I ever saw his teeth bared at someone was at the vet where that idiot decided after we told him his jaw was sensitive, to try it out for himself full-force by grabbing his head and pressuring the jaw with his thumb. Yeah. Never again. Though, Tang was more scared and in pain than pissed, so he didn't unsheathe his claws or go to bite. He's too submissive for that.

Aleaha has only been hissy with tom cats. Of course, she is a lady after all. Gotta keep the boys away. She loves on the dogs though, and is very lax with them. Unless they run or roughhouse around her, than she gets pissed and glares at them.

Miya I would think is the most smacked. She has a big nose, and likes to poke it around our cats. She also tried to eat their food...tried... The dog does anything a normal stressed person would. Stress eat, stress chew, constantly scratch without any reason to but the anxiety.... etc. So, when she gets stressed, she gets all nervous and tap-dances around, sometimes almost running over Aleaha or Tang on her way.

Poor girl. She just gets so nervous all the time. She can't sit still for a minute unless you have her all wrapped up in your arms and are doing something repetitively like scratching her back, rubbing her chest, or massaging her ear. Still working with her. Gave her an oatmeal bath today, and the cats know, because I had it on my hands, and they were all crazy sniffing it.

Aleaha also loves this little box we have. No other cat knows about it really, and she fits perfectly. I mean, perfectly. It is the perfect width, height, length.... the perfect volume for her. Only she can fit in it just right. It's over to my right, ontop of a corner desk, so she can watch me type and draw at her own whim and way. It's also next to a small window, so she can watch the birds outside, or lay in the sun if it's positioned just right.

Anybody got a cat's favorite spot? Under the couch? In a drawer? in a breadbox? Ontop of a roof?

Huh. We went to go see our dad and his girlfriend yesterday and our brother was teasing them about getting a dog or cat and our dad said he didn't want one. Then the girlfriend was all 'yeah I like cats' and now apparently they might be getting a cat.
Wish it was that easy in our house :B But then they don't seem to have put much thought into it. It's probably going to be a bad idea, especially since they want a 'Persian'.

Ugh. No. Not a Persian. With what people are breeding for nowadays? Goodness. Those things are a vet's nightmare.

Traditional Persians aren't bad... but goodness. Persians nowadays are so dang sickly looking. Their face all smahed into flatness. It's not good for an animal to have a skull like that. Pugs, Persians... it just isn't healthy.

Pan's favourite place is on top of our mantelpiece. She normally just sits on top of the T.V box and sleeps - or jumps up there to get away from our puppy.
