I wish I had a cat. I act like a cat. I bat at shiney objects and get stuck in trees.

Uhh... are Fruit Roll-ups bad for cats? I was eating one but I set it down for a minute to go do something. When I came back, my cat Nugget was happily munching away at it... Nuggy will eat anything!

Is it normal for a cat to eat current buns and drink tea? My grand ads cat will eat and drink anything my grandad leaves unattended so does my cat but my other cat only eats cat food it's weird what some cats like and some don't

Anything not meat isn't good for them, but it shouldn't hurt it to eat one once.

It's normal for some cats to eat stuff that isn't meat. You shouldn't let them but buns won't do any harm if they manage to eat some. The caffeine in tea can be a bit of a problem but only a small amount once should be ok. If you have a cat that insists on eating everything it can be a bit hard but you just need to make a special effort to keep things away from them :D Jack keeps trying to eat plastic, foil, string and stuff. We're constantly checking that nothing she might eat is where she can get to it.
Make sure they don't consume anything that can be seriously harmful: http://www.catster.com/cat-health-care/ ... us-to-cats

any odd foods your cats adore?

All my cats, except for Sassy and Jigsaw, enjoy human food perhaps a little too much.
Butterscotch will want to check out anything your eating. She'll eat meat, salad, rice, soup, toast... she even once licked a bit of pomegranate tea, though I don't think she liked it very much x3 When your eating something, she'll reach out with one paw, claws unsheathed, and try to snag whatever your eating with her claws. If your eating something like chicken soup, she prefers if you take a little bowl, fill in with a bit of soup, dip a spoon in, and hold the spoon while she licks up the soup from it. She's definitely a quirky cat ^^
When I had a small bamboo plant (before Sassy had her kittens and before I got Jigsaw) Sassy and Butterscotch destroyed the poor little plant by eating it or simply chewing on it, and knocking it over xD Needless to say, I haven't gotten another bamboo plant since then.
Bramble and Amarni don't eat as many odd foods as Butterscotch, but Amarni likes licking toast and Bramble likes the occasional lick of yogurt (vanilla flavored only, I think) and chips (pretty much any flavor.) Also, my older sister's cat (who died a while back) used to like to eat red hot blue chips.

    Another question!
    Code: Select all
Are any of your cats scared of random objects?

Bramble's scared of bicycle helmets xD

Jack has just been staring out the window for the past 20 minutes.
Its kinda weird but we don't want to disturb her in case she starts destroying things again.

She's only scared of the hoover really. And only when its turned on.
She freaked out the first time we introduced her to kitty toothpaste. Just for no reason. She likes it just not the tube it comes in c:

Odd foods: Loni is quite happy sticking with his cat food, but Kilik will try to take a bite out of whatever his people are eating, unless it's fruit or veggies. He goes crazy for fried chicken, beef jerky, and deli meat, for one. He also loves bread. Biscuits, pancakes, pizza crusts, pop tarts, even cookie dough ice cream once. We try not to let him get any of these foods because we know they aren't good for cats, but that doesn't stop him from begging and trying to steal them from the plate.

Fear of strange objects: Both of ours have a fear of plastic bags. We have no idea why. Kilik is also afraid of strangers (not too unusual, I know) and waving cloth. As in, if he's in the bedroom and I pick up a shirt, he's fine. But if I try to shake the wrinkles out of it, he bolts out the door like he's running from a fire.

My grandparent's cat is afraid when you put your sweater sleeve all the way over your hand. Once you put it off and just wear it normally he's perfectly fine. Cx
