I love cats but the sad thing is some cats i have reaction to like my arm gets itchy.

Allergies.... they stink.

Gladly, I don't have allergies to animals, only certain plants and things. I would be so mad if I were allergic to cats. Must be a bummer.

Ok.

Is it normal for a cat to like its belly being rubbed like a dog? My cat always lays down next to me and rolls over on her back, and let's me touch her belly which I've never seen a cat do before.

Yup yup pretty normal.
Generally indicates trust and that they feel safe and secure enough to expose their vulnerable bits c: Which might also be why you don't normally see cats doing it if you haven't had cats before her or whatever.

It can also be a whole 'i love you enough to know you'd never touch my belly :'D' thing. Which is often what happens when they bite you when you go for it. Depends.

Lol, one of my kitties does that. He's a very patient cat and puts up with a lot of stuff, but he will attack your hand if you touch his belly. My other cat puts up with it, but he'd still much prefer an ear rub to a belly rub.

I really don't understand what you mean, but my cat rubs up against furniture and meows, if that's what you mean. When a cat does that it means that they want you to pay attention to them, or they want food or something.

All my cats are doing much better. They're still getting some medicine, but not as much. Sassy is not eating at all and we're having to force feed her, but everyone else is starting to get their appetites back. Bramble, Amarni, and Butterscotch even went out on the porch the other day for about ten minutes or so, since it was pretty warm out (thirty degrees or something like that xD)
All the cats' voices are really squeaky since they got sick. Yesterday, Bramble was asking me to be let outside, and his meow was really quiet, which is unusual, and Sassy's meow sounded really raspy. But Butterscotch was playing with a toy mouse this morning, and I was so glad to see she's getting some of her energy back after being sick.
I'm really glad our cats didn't get as sick as my aunt's cats. My mom thinks its because we jumped on top of the cats' sickness right away because we knew they were getting sick, while my aunt was observing her cats for a while, thinking possibly her first two cats who started throwing up swallowed something they shouldn't have, since they didn't really have normal cat-flu symptoms. Until her other cats got sick, too.
My aunt also traced the sickness to the cat clinic she works at part time. She remembered that she treated a sick cat with the same symptoms and sent it home. A few days later, the same cat and the owner's other cat came into the clinic, both sick. My aunt's sure she brought the bug back to her house.

Anyway, do any of you have cats who like playing with odd household objects? (empty toilet paper rolls, bottle caps, hair clips, stuff like that.) My cat Bramble was carrying around my dog, Primrose's, favorite floppy squirrel dog-toy around in his mouth all around the house the other day, and he would growl at Primrose whenever she tried to take it from him x3 it was pretty funny ^^

Glad to hear your cats are doing better, lemondropkitten!

My kitties play with odd things sometimes. I'm a long-time stalker on this thread, though I don't post here often (trying to fix that). My family has two cats, neutered males named Kilik and Loni. Kilik is a short-haired black and white cat, and Loni is long-haired and black. Sadly I haven't got any pictures. They're both about 7 years old, I think (they were my boyfriend's cats before I came into the picture, but I feel like they're mine now too, after almost three years) and they both have odd taste in toys. Kilik is fond of sticks (not too unusual, I know). Loni, however, likes to play with bottle caps, possibly because of the amount of noise they make skittering across a tile floor. He also likes to annihilate cotton balls, but only when no one's looking. They are both very fond of string, as many cats seem to be--I'm told that Kilik even ate a piece of dental floss once when he was a kitten.

We have this white cat that comes in here, And luckily my female tortie kitten is fixed, We don't need anymore strays.. My neighborhood is a little on the.. Bad side.. You could say, There is a lot of thieves. I decided to add Avalanche, The white stray, Into my family, though only I think of him as a family member, Avalanche likes to go outside a LOT once he's bored in the house he goes outside, then maybe at night he'll come back and stay the night, then in the morning he goes out again, then in the afternoon he comes back, then leaves when he's bored, and comes back around night. But he doesn't know how to use cat doors, I often have to hold the cat flap open, and he climbs through, then he starts meowing and I have to hold the cat flap open again. Hopefully he learns XD I'm guessing he's about one year old.. Cause he's like a big kitten c: He's really sweet. He really is c: He also plays with my female tortie kitten Pepper c: They like to chase each other around the house, and play-fight. But my older cat, George, Is considered the king of the house XD And luckily Avalanche respects that, George is also a big softie, But he's 16 years old in cat years, So he isn't very playful. George also grooms Pepper sometimes, like George is Pepper's daddy c: But he's not. We got Pepper at Petsmart c:
