The oldest I got on a farm, the middle one was a stray, and the youngest I got on the same farm (The farm is for cows but stray cats go there for food like mice, and some of the adult cats are very friendly) I was just wondering, one of them, the middle cat, is a strictly outside cat. I wasn't happy that he was strictly outside, but if he is inside for more then a few hours he will pee on laundry and stuff. We have taken him to the vet and there is nothing wrong with him that they could see, and everytime we take him for a check up we ask the same question. "Why?" He used to be familiar with his cat-box and would use it and a year or 2 ago he just stopped.
All I wanted to know was why he stopped using the cat box. I have formed several theories like he got annoyed at the other cats, and didnt want to go in the same place because he felt it was "their territory". Any ideas? Does anyone else have an outside cat that does that?
if the litter box has a hood remove it, if you only have one get 3 more (you should have a box for each cat + 1)
