Hey, everybody. Most people agree animal hunting, killing, abuse and such is getting out of hand, and causing some people to go to the extremes to protect them. Operation S.T.P is a club, that hopefully grows fast, to protect all wild and domestic animals being hurt and killed. When joining, you are pledging to be an active member and od your best to post help and all. Just to let everybody know, please only join if you care. Rebels are not appreciated on this thread. To really get us started, here are the rules. If you don't follow them, you will be banned.

Why You Want To Help: I like animals, they are wonderful creatures of the Earth and are beautiful things that are misunderstood in this world.
Why You Deserve To Help: I love animals and I am highly against animal abuse and habitat loss. Animals are just as important as us on the food chain and should not be abused.
Are You Interested in Being A Mod: Yes, I think I'd like to be co-owner more though.
What Can You Do To Help: I am on about two hours a day so I will 1) Advertise to raise the attention 2) Find petitions we could possibly sign 3) Find facts about these things and tell other people about these 4) Make buttons, banners I am not so good at.

Why You Want To Help: All animals are like mini-people. People don't want other people to get hurt, but they don't realize our fuzzy friends are people too. They may be lower than us based on hieght in some species, but they all have lives too!
Why You Deserve To Help: I've helped out at at least 10 different shelters, I have 2 ferrets (Cheese and Crackers, 4 years), 3 dogs (Kia, Molly, and Boo. 17, 4, and 3, respectivly) and a lizard named Sparky.
Are You Interested in Being A Mod: Yeah.
What Can You Do To Help: I can make banners and stuff to spead the word, my sig is basically an ad space.

Is regulated hunting considered horrible and cruel by your standards?

It is needed for some species such as deer or the grey wolf who will overpopulate themselves and die out slowly from starvation.
A quick clean shot to the head is normally what hunters do.
Best part? It's usually lethal before the brain can even register pain.

Poaching, on the other hand, I'm fully against because it's most often done for black market trade.
Even if not, it is still illegal for a reason.
Also against aerial hunting.
I believe trapping is only necessary when predators are taking livestock.
If it's an endangered animal, they should transport it to a reserve/zoo if possible.
