I'm so sick of 'save the ((grey)) wolf'. Wolf lovers should focus on saving ACTUAL endangered wolves at the least. Not to mention, WHO CAN RESIST THIS BEAST:I'll add you to the list.
And I know, I simply HATE it when I see "Save the grey wolf" posts. Why don't we
save Amur leopards, who are so close to extinction, Instead? Or other endangered
animals, for that matter.

Fun Fact #2: you* actually can't "mistake" a black big cat for a panther because a panther isn't a species, it is a classification of Panthera(all big cats) based on color. Any big cat, leopard, jaguar, puma etc that has the rare black coloration is technically a panther.

Sorry if this seems rude, I'm kind of an animal nerd
Oh I would also like to say something about the Grey Wolf rant that occurs on this thread. I believe that "save the grey wolf" is so popular because most people on CS are American, and the Grey Wolf is a native animal who is close to home. everyone KNOWS the grey wolf. Not nearly as many people know about Amur Leopards and other very endangered species because we don't live very close to them. That's all.
