@English: xD Sorry, I ramble on. A lot.

My lesson yesterday was amazing! I rode Willow, as usual, and did the annoying stirrup exercise. However, I've gotten a lot better, and my leg doesn't move. o.o She was really responsive and my Equitation was correct, so I was pretty happy.
After warming up, my trainer had me canter figure eights with a simple change across the diagonal. It was actually really easy. xD Willow used to be really heavy on my hand and was NOT easy to slow down. Now I just use my seat and leg for all transitions and steering, no hands. (: Although I still keep a good contact so she doesn't get strung out, I don't have to use my hands for much else. And she likes to try and do flying changes without being asked, which is why I had her do simple changes instead. Auto-changes can be nice, but it isn't ideal in the long run, so I'm trying to break Willow's habit of trying to do the changes. But that exercise when really well. Then I did the same figure eight, but with walk to canter transitions instead of the trot to canter.

And THEN I did a 3 loop serpentine at the canter with simple changes. It was easy too, even though our indoor is TINY. xD It was a lot of fun, though. Trainer says that next time will be over JUMPS!

But I sneaked a look at the lesson book, and I'm supposed to ride Lukas on Friday. That is the ONE horse I dislike. xD And then on Sunday I'm riding Lulu, which I'm a bit nervous about. I rode her a ton over the summer and fall... and she is crazy. xD She uses a gag and is really go-y and bolt-y. I can handle it, but it is a real challenge. Her jump is absolutely lovely, though.
What I'm worried about is that she got injured back in October, and has pretty much been on stall rest since then - she hardly ever gets ridden. o.o So... I'm in for an adventure, eh?

And a new girl is joining my group lesson! She's riding Willow. Sigh.

I have a few questions and I need some advice.

I ride (or at least try too) every week. The horse that I ride is Whiskey. I used to ride Beau, but health problems got in the way so I can't ride him anymore. Anyway, I ride the basics of Western, but I would like to learn the more advanced techniques. (Not sure if this makes sense, so I'll try to explain it a different way. I'm a beginner who rides Western. I'm still learning some English techniques (as the basics of Western and English are very similar), however I want to start barrel racing, pole bending, etc. if I can.It depends on what I can do.) Any tips? Sorry if this doesn't make any sense.

Thank you!
Love everything Dragon Age! i'm an avid reader and enjoy playing video games. I'm also into fiber arts such as knitting, embroidery, and crocheting.

I got a 40 on my math quiz. And I'm sick. No barn today. ;-; My dad had to come get me from school, it was so bad. Ask for extra credit, see if you can do something about it and maybe your parents will reconsider?

I failed one test ever, that was a science test last year. I made sure to ask if I could do a re-write and that we went over the test before I told my parents, and they weren't really mad. I'm usually an A student, so it was really out of the norm. It was because the test itself was confusing, the questions and stuff. So if you haven't already told your parents, there's a few ways to kind of ease them into it and assure them that next time, you know exactly what went wrong, and you'll fix it. Hopefully it won't affect your riding too much!

Did anyone see my last two posts? I think they keep ending up on the bottom of the page xD.

Yesterday, when I was pulling hay bales off the stack and pushing them out of the hay loft into the stable aisle, it went a little wrong. Usually, I can push down 5 or 6 in the same spot, and they will fall on top of each other and it's all fine, but yesterday, the third one I pushed must've hit the corner of the second one somehow just a tiny bit of an angle, and the balling twine completely burst and the hay went everywhere. My friend couldn't stop laughing at me, and when I got the wheelbarrow to put the hay in, all the horses were neighing for their dinner and my friend said it sounded like they were laughing at me xD.

Well, my parents haven't said that I can't do two lessons a week now... But I'm just assuming.
I told my mom when we were in the car. I would feel too guilty if I didn't.
I got a 65. -.- I forgot to study and history is really hard for me... it's always been. I still don't understand why they put me in PreAP (honors) if I suck at it.
Erg, hurdles tryouts are tomorrow. Or rather, hurdles cuts. I'm currently in hurdles, but tomorrow the coach is going to remove the people that suck at it. I actually do pretty well, I just get 5 strides (they're called steps but I call them strides) between each hurdle and I can't seem to alternate my lead leg like I'm supposed to. Oh well, I have excellent form and I always clear the hurdles, plus I go pretty fast.

They want you to have the best oppurtunities possible. Getting into college is impossible without honors/AP. Sorry to sound all counselor/parentish. xD I am planning to go to Meredith Manor, if I'm lucky.

Yeah, I know. I'm in honors language arts and I might be in honors science next year, since I have a 100 average and I've never studied for a test in there. I haven't gotten a B or lower on a science test/quiz/grade this year, and I haven't studied once. XD
Hopefully I'll be able to ride on Sunday, since it's been rainy lately and it's supposed to storm on Saturday. My friend might be coming, too. Yay. ;D
