Some people have no common scene. None whatsoever. I was taking Doc threw a pattern that we had to pay for, and this chick comes in zooming right in front of me like she owns the barn. The horse git Doc's fury from flying hooves, and the girl got my fury with language. She was gone within 45 minutes of arriving. Some people are just so...so...stupid.

Gaahh. I'm so bad at be active. Anywayss.. lately, I was letting a 12 year old girl ride my mare and she was jumping her. This lady that owns a 20yr mare that is as flighty as a rabbit comes over and tryst to tell the girl how to handle my horse. This lady is a complete beginner too. She then told a volunenteer that i just happened to know very well, to " go and babysit us" I'm almost 17; riding since i was 4 or 5. My friend, who is 10, was there and not to mention the 12 year old that i know pretty well.
I was really glad i didn't yell at her. Though i did talk loudly when the voulenteer was talking to me.. Lol. The lady keeps her horse stalled all day. Then she wonders why it is so hyper up when she gets it out for the week. Its never been to pasture since shes got it either and it hates its stall. I really just want to offer to help exercise it for ber since shes too scared to ride the horse herself.

What an idiot. Honestly.

There's these kids at my yard that really annoy me.
They got a super-sweet, adorable little pony for Christmas. She is about the sweetest pony you can get - perfect manners, good to ride, friendly...she even whickers when you call her name!
But these kids...they've barely ridden her since she arrived, and it's nearly always that their mum comes down to muck-out and care for it. Ones about ten, and the other seven, so it's not like they're too young to do things like that...or have too much school-work to do!

It really annoys me.

Yeah it sucks when other people who truly want a horse cant have one, and a perfectly good horse get wasted on crap owners.

Yup, common sense is endangered thing now days, especially with animals it seems. I'm really glad I have been on stables that have nice people. One person was bit annoying, but I rarely saw her as she visited her horses hardly once a month, I saw her twice in 4 months of time. She wasn't that good rider and she got this nice gaited wonderfull looking gelding. They got along okay at first. Then he got some back problems, she's not good rider and had bit too much extra weight to top it and that's not good combinations for Icelandic. So I heard he turned hard to ride, for reason but that was before she noticed that his back hurt, and even when his back got better he didn't trust people on his back, or atleast his owner never rode him and I think she sort of became afraid of him as she fell from him at some point. She tried working with him from the ground and stuff, but finally sold him to someone who got along with him straight from the begining, so I was happy for the horse. Hopefully his doing better now.

A 7 year old is too young to care for a pony in my oppinion, if they haven't been raised with them. 10 is bit better if they have years of experience, but will need some help for sure. If their mom knows about horses then that's good, but I do agree it's not nice to leave her just standing.

Yeah, their mum does know about horses and has owned them for a while, and they've been around horses since they were little, but sadly they aren't very mature around them (running and shouting...). The ponies too small for their mum, and I'd probaly be too, but otherwise I'd love to get on her and give her some excersise.

Denz was beaten with a whip, need any help just ask. He was beaten very bad, so bad he had no trust and bucked when you asked for canter. That's because he was beaten to canter so naturally bucked

I dont know if you can help, hes just always jumpy and if I break a stick to get it out Of the way, he flips out and starts franticaly trotting to get away. I know he was used in speed shows and I think that contributes to it. U can't touch your legs on him and I love him, he's good at speed but Im thinking of selling him because I don't like having to hold him back all the time when i ride...

For some reason my horse gets nervous with the bit around him. We've had him ever since he was 4, but he's only 5 and a half now though, but I think one of my trainers in the past might have pulled on his bit. He's really sensitive, so you only need to open the inside rein and squeeze with your leg so he'll budge. We got a new bit for him, and he's doing better but he still tries to lift his head a bit when we try to put in in his mouth. I think he'll get over it after a while. Anyways, do you like my horse poem?

A horse with his big, rock hard, pounding hooves,
with such threatening, scary features,
can have such a kind, gentle hearit inside.
If you give a horse your heart, it will give you its all.
All that hard work will pay off one day,
... when you and your horse are cantering across a meadow,
when your at a horse show,
or when your just riding him at home,
the horse will show you that all the tears, the sweat and the bruises,
will all workout,
for your horse will make you a champion,
no matter what your discipline.
You will finally be able to get the most out of your horse.

Inspired by my lovely, green broke horse.

bad ride today. Ebony had her little halfhearted trot going when you can hardly tell its more then a walk. The girl I was riding with was paying like no attention and I swear Teddy (the horse she was riding) almost crashed into Ebony almost five times. Ebony kept doing the thing where she bucks her head so she can pull the reins out of my hands. That was annoying. So over all a pretty bad ride.
When I was untacking Ebony there was this rich girl who kept looking at me like I'm dirt because she's been riding longer then me. She talked down to me and spoke in slowly and rudely. Just because she's been riding longer then me doesn't make her better then me.
I'm learning how to canter soon and my riding instructor says I have to learn on Teddy but I've never liked Teddy and he's never liked me so that's probably not gonna go well. Hopefully I can convince her to let me canter on Sunny.
Bailey has gotten better. I don't know if I posted it or not but Bailey the golden retriever who is about six in human years has been sick. He wasn't being himself. Bailey just sat there when Brook and Breezy, the other two dogs played fetch and got attention. Luckily though this week he's gotten much better. He's running and playing as he always did even though he's starting to get gray fur on his muzzle.

Between school, my pets, homework, art and life I have not been able to get on cs often, so please don't be surprised if I'm not very active.
