@Toppy: Yup, I'm really excited! On OK, I think that I'll try that! New jackets are so expensive... >< My local tack shop has consignment, though, maybe I'll find something there! But I'll definitely try craigslist, too.

Awesome! I hope that you can show! 8D I love Arabian shows. I watch some of the ones around here when I can, the horses are so beautiful! <3

@Rain: Eek! That is the cutest name EVER! Your mom sounds hilarious. xD I can't wait to see videos and the likes!
Yup, shows 'round here are waayyy too expensive. Uploading them to tinypic now, my dear. xD

I hope that you have fun in the show and that Soda goes well for you!

@Dolphin: Eek! Your show is this weekend, right? ;D Good luck! You'll have an amazing time! Out of barn shows are no biggy. Those are the only shows I've ever been to, haha.
And you're going to an A show? Awesome! 8D Tell me how it goes, because I'm going to one too this summer. :p I have to start saving my money now, though, because with schooling shows running up a $500-$600 bill, an A show will be more expensive. xD At least it's local-ish.
I'm going to need a show shirt and jacket. D: I don't want to wear those in the summer... ugh.

Eep, I'm excited already! And in July we are planning on going to Kentucky for a B show, so we can experience traveling more for a show without having it be some crazy big A show. <3 I live in Missouri, so it'll be a 5 hour drive down there, longer with the horses, but totally worth it!
Gotta save my money for that too, lol.

@Hanoverian_Girl: Ah thank you very much :) I usually don't get very nervous, and I'm not very nervous actually. Just a bit nervous which is normal for me. But I am very comfortable showing so it's all good :3 That's cool that you know all of the showing venues so well. I really don't since most of the shows my trainer and her riders attend are at my stable since they have a fabulous show series ^^ But my trainer likes when I go to shows that I don't show in too. It is really good experience :D That's so awesome that you are your best friend show together and go to shows that your not in together and all ;D My best friend and I used to show together until she moved (and now is thinking of stopping riding >.<). I will try to hang out with people from my barn -- but the only one going is the barn manager and her horse(s) who is a lot older than me. But she seems really sweet so hopefully we can get to know each other better since I think she is going to to A show too :D Lol it sounds like you guys have a ton of fun at shows! Haha the pictures sound hilarious xD Hopefully my nerves won't get the best of me but they probably won't. Oh and I am doing I think 4 or 5 classes. I am doing Adult Amateur/Children's Hunter Division and a flat Eq. class and possibly the over fences Eq. class. Yep remembering to breathe is important  Haha sometimes I forget to that though :P

@Hanoverian: I will hopefully be going to the A show! I am so happy that my trainer thinks I am already good enough -- I thought if I was going to go to one that it would be in the summer like you. So this is really soon but I am super excited!! It is going to be really expensive though so that's why we are unsure. It will probably be like $800-$1000 since we have to pay for our hotel room, my trainer's room, trailering of Woody, class fee's, ground fee's, a warm up fee, a stall for Woody, and plaiting Woody's mane. >.< But I am would help pay for mane plaiting and for the stall :) Yep yep my show is this weekend! Thank you very much!! I am going out to the stable tomorrow night to prep and stuff ;D

That's cool that out of barn shows are the only one's your stable goes to :D Yeah it probably won't be very different. I will just ride like I always do xD That's so awesome that your going to an A show in the summer!! How exciting!! Yeah I am sure it will be more expensive :/ That's good that your's is local though -- mine is out of state so I am pretty excited (if I go). Ooo good luck buying a show coat! I think it would be very nice if you wore one ^^ I actually just bought a new blue show shirt a few weeks ago. It's longsleeved for my show this weekend :3

Once again, I am so proud of you and Willow for doing so well in your show <33 You guys rocked like I knew you would

EDIT: @.raindrop.: Aww thanks so much!! That is so sweet <33 Your making me blush :3 I will be sure to give Woody a hug and kiss from you. Thanks again, I greatly apperciate all of your sweet comments :) I will be sure to get tons of pictures and upload them ASAP.

Ooo good luck on your show with Soda if you ride him ;D That would be awesome if you could show him since you never have ^^ What classes are you doing? If you know yet...

Hopefully we'll get to show this season. IF IT WILL STOP RAINING. ;-; Anyway... Any tips for a greenie's first show? It's mine as well, so we'll only be doing some flat classes and possibly bareback western pleasure. ^.^
Previously iRowdy/OneRowdyNight and all sorts of other things.

Rest In Peace Zax. I love you.

*Poke Poke* Dolphin, I just edited my post that you quoted. xD You must look.
Good luck at your shooooow! And have fun at the A! I wish that I could do mine sooner, but we don't have any local A' shows until the summer. Poo.

And thanks, we had so much fun!

EDIT EDIT EDIT EDITTTTT:
Whoa. Just looked at the show schedule at the big arena where we compete at, and the A show is actually in March. (Which is summer to me xD). But it's not an A show. It's an AA. I feel like an idiot asking this, but what is the difference? xD

UGH,my ankle hurts from my last lesson.
I want to ride but don't know if it's the right thing to do at the moment, I mean in dance just by doing a sukkish leap it hurts XD.
But my instructor will take it easy since I'm still not over the shock and pain.
Hopefully I can upload some pictures.

Soda Pop is an awesome name for a horse! What colour is he? It makes me think of a roan horse xD. I'd love to see video, raindrop!

When I tack up Jesse in the cross ties, he usually just stands there if he's not tied, and he sniffs brushes on the ground and rubs his face on the wall and other weird things. He's such a dork, but I luffles him. When he does start to walk away, it's very slow small steps, and I can immediately stand in front of him and push him back into the crossties.

I had an awesome lesson yesterday! We did cavaletti work, which we haven't done in at least two months, and I have to admit I was nervous because the last few times we've done it, have been a bit scary. Jesse is a klutz, and doesn't always understand to actually lift his feet higher, which meant lots of tripping, knocking the cavaletti over and over all very iffy. But he was great! We trotted it at all three heights, and at the top height cantered over and jumped it. He nicked it a few times, of course, but not once did he trip or hesitate or run out! He was awesome.

My friend is now riding Simon, the horse that I went to try a few weeks ago, if anyone remembers. Simon and Jesse are about the same level with jumping and pole work, which is really good. We can work up on it together. Plus, me and her are going to start a horse blog 'cause we both love to write and stuff. I can give you guys the link once we have it up and running.

Hano, I want to see the photos too!

I have no idea what the difference between A and AA is, I don't know the difference between B and A and all them other letters because we don't have those in Canada. Lol.

Good luck this weekend, Dolph, and have fun with Woody! I'm sure you'll have loads of fun and do well!

-rowdy, I'm in the same boat as you. GET LOST, RAIN. Although today was sunny.

We've been having CRAZY weather, first it snows three feet than the next day it's as warm as spring!!
We've been having lots of rain to, it rains at least twice each week, my neighbor hood smells damp now :\

EDIT:
I've been thinking of asking my instructor if our good group can jump a bit higher I mean all of our jumps are really the same height each lesson, but she's really strict, I don't wanna start a argument, any ways how I could ask?
Also do an of you have collections that have to do with horses?
Here's what I collect:

Horse magazines total: 45
Horse models total: 16 ( Started right before Christmas )
Cards Total: 46 ( Card with horse picture on them )

I would simply politely ask her if she could raise them a little bit. If she asks why, say that you feel confident in your jumping ability and that of your friends, but also stress that she is the one who knows best, and should do what she thinks is best.
That's what I used to do with my instructor, when I wanted to try new things. If she thought I was ready, she would let me do it. Now, if I want to try something new, the answer is almost always yes, because I've shown that I can judge my riding ability rather well, and I"m not going to try anything stupid.

Thanks, I am pretty confident with myself, I jumped three feet over the Summer!!
People in our group are fine to, they jump with no problem and handle their horses well.
She compliments me herself and even suggested I should move to a more advanced level, I'll just ask if she could raise it up one or two holes and see how that goes, since the holes on our standards are pretty far apart.

@ Toppy: He's a bay. :D
@ Dolphin: I'll be doing the beginner class - It's a w/t/c canter class, and two over fences classes with the fences being 2 feet. Hopefully Soda will work for me - he may not. He's much slower than Winnie, but not one of those horses that always starts walking when they're supposed to be trotting. I'll be able to make my leg MUCH better, since I'll be able to keep my heel on him, which always helps my leg position a ton. With Winnie, I have to completely remove my heel from her side, which causes my leg to swing forward. Plus, when I get stressed I lean forward. I have a feeling that Soda will be PERFECT for me! :D
@ Hanoverian: YES! PICTURES! XD I can't wait to see Willow! And you riding. :D Yes, my mom is hilarious. XD At my last horse show, she asked my instructor if I would get extra points if I talked with a british accent. And my instructor said that "if she talks, we'll have to slap her." Strange people. My mom also does a lot of different accents all of the time. She wants to be a voiceover person, which I pretty cool. She's already done a few commercials for our local christian radio station.

EDIT: @ Toppy: I just read the end of your post. XD I thought you were telling me to get lost at first... then I realized that you were talking about RAIN! The actual rain. XD Silly me! If you guys want, you can call me Raine, since that's the name of my fursona. And, yes, Soda Pop is the coolest name ever.
