Grace was already tied up there, before he'd been brought in. She had her own food too, but wasn't eating it.

I never said about her eating. The other horse she was tied near to was eating so the other horse was being protective of its food.

Sorry. My fiancée is studying horse physiology =/ he is only 6 so may not have established a pecking order or may have just being grumpy

Hmm Four year old Fiddler is very protective over food. Was he gelded late? Fids was and nowe he is really bad when a person/horse is near him when eating
