Body language is a good pointer. If they like jumping, for example, they'll probaly ahve their ears pricked and be forward-going. If they don't like say...schooling in the arena, they may plod around and be lazy, do respond to your signals, etc.

Thats my problem with Sonny and Ari. Ari doesnt like jumping, he hates cantering, and is never excited to go do anything. THe only thing Iv seen him be happy with is *eating,* free running, without a rider. He just tuns around the arena, and playfuly chases people;D

Had a great day today, on Jakey. It's sunny, and he behaved perfectly. Got up to 4ft 2, felt like flying.

He's safe and clean in his stable. Took a long time to get him like that though, he rolled in the field.

So Yup, I'm on the top of the world...........

Wow just got a text from my friend I will copy it word for word " TMR up by our stable past the pubs and on the main road, ther's a field with a dapple grey horse in it.The gypsys havent been to feed it since before christmas and thid lady is giving it carrots and apples.its filthy dirty has no,water so the lady brings 2 liter bottlesd of water each day.Shes going to buy hay from out stable and possibly hard feed.We have named him Gorgeous,Gorg for short " Its abserloutly shocking. God bless that womon, but how can people do such a thing.The RSPCA is going to be phoned, he is caked in mud. Im really uset to read that.
