You can ride her bareback with just a halter... the owner is going to college and wants someone to give her some love and a ride every week, so I'm emailing her! 8D EXCITEMENT.

How do you even find a lease as good as that?!

So, once again when I was waiting for my trainer to come for my lesson, my Mom started talking to someone about leasing. You all remember Slim? Yeah, the people we talked to contacted his owners about it. Slim sounds like a wonderful horse, they said he's about as layed back and well trained as most horses can get. He sounded nice, and I had seen him once while getting Poco. He's a BEAUTIFUL bay with some white on his face. He's not horrible out of shape, but looks a little chubby and might have some weak rear end muscles since it looks kind of droopy. It all sounded perfect! Problem? He's a english riding horse... I just started werstern again and I'm in love. I have wanted to jump though and they said I could train the horse to jump probably, also he has one of the smoothest backs I've ever seen on a horse so bareback would seen fun. I'd be leasing Poco for a year though before Slim was even an option.

What is your guys input? Switch over to Slim while his owners are at college, and maybe start jumping? Or stay with Poco for a year or two and stick to western.

Hey guys! I found this cool website- wordle. You put in blocks of text and it spits it out, showing the most used words the biggest. I used all of our descriptions for a stunning horse.

I hope the link works...

Had to cancel my lesson today because I've had tonsillitis for two weeks now and just want to let the antibiotics work and get rid of it, finally. :/
Plus I want to be on my usual form for a new instructor. c: So yeah, hopefully I'll have Obbie next week and all will go well.

Yay! I have a lesson today, I am so excited since I didn't ride last Saturday because all of the horses got a one week break ^^
On another note, I thought I would just try looking at some other stables near me. I found what looks like a pretty good stable and its about 20-25 minutes away. I don't plan on switching anytime soon, but I just wanted to see my options.
http://www.shadybrookstables.com/ Tell me what you guys think, I would love to hear some your thoughts.
The only problem is that lessons are a bit more expensive :/ $500 for 10 half an hour group lessons, $650 for 10 hour group lessons. But maybe I can work around the stable to lower the price. I mean if they stable is really that good then maybe my parents won't mind paying...

You are the love of my life and will always occupy a huge portion of my heart.
I want you to know how much I love you, and our 6 months together have been the best 6 months of my life.
You have been a dream come true and I have been on cloud nine since we first met.
I will never forgot all of the amazing times we've had together.
Enjoy your new home and promise me this, that you will never forget me, as I will never forget you.

Go for the hour group lessons. It's cheaper and you get more done.

And I saw a pic of their horses -- they've got a Halfy!

Me too! None of my friends ride, and I wished one of them did. I've suggested alot of leases to them but their all like: "I don't really want to waste money on something like this right now." Your not wasting money! Horses are worth it, ;n;

I agree,that would be awesome.
<3
One of my friends rode once at our house, she rode both Jesse and Storm since we only had 2 good riding horses, and i'm a twin,so we had to take turns xD
Sometimes my sister rides,my mom and dad usually never anymore. For the most part i'm by myself, which is kinda better when I want to gallop.I wish I had friends who owned horses though, like Storm's past rider.
