I am bored so I am going to share some photos of Contrabass... He is not mine, but he is such a pretty boy.

Contar, a handsome hunter. He is very monthly and likes to lick people. He also loves cats and broke my watch by bitting it a ripping it off my hand. He is again not mine, but I love him so much.

I must say, Contrabass is an awesome name for a horse [as I am a musician ], and I just adore dappled bays. ^^

My mare is so weird. I took her into the barn and tied her up, as always. It was while I was brushing her that I noticed one of the new kittens in a cage outside. (They're usually kept inside, so they don't run off. I'm pretty sure they were acclimating the kitten to barn life.) My mare, upon seeing this tiny kitten, snorts and stares at it. For ten minutes, while I groomed her and tacked her up, she simply stared at the kitten, head down and making this weird snorting noise. She only ever makes that noise when she's introduced to something new. It's her "What is that?" noise. She didn't spook at the kitten, she simply wanted to observe it.

Needless to say, the cat thought she was an idiot.
