Rowdy: Aww, I'm so sorry! Do you know why he quit? Do you have another trainer?
So I had a private lesson yesterday on Summer. Sadly, it was her goodby lesson. D: We had her on a free loan over the summer to train her and get some experience on her, for she is only 4, but now her owners want to sell her for a ridiculous price that we can't afford. ><
But it was great. I warmed up first by walking over a raised cavellitti and bending her. Then we did some trot, collecting in corners and extending on the long sides to strengthen her back and hind end. We also did a ton of figure eights and circles at the trot. Then I did a bit of canter, she was poor to the left but a lot better to the right. I have to keep more of a close hip angle than usual on her due to her small size. Then we did a ton of jumping, which was super fun! Yay! Over one of the jumps, though, Summer was jumping stilt-y, which made me collapse a bit. >< So my trainer makes me stick a long crop in the front of my pants so that if I collapsed, the crop would bang me in the nose! I never collapsed again, not once, and I finished my course well. ;3
Sunday is a group lesson, working on the flat.
And then on Thursday I'll be doing a lot of jumping with Imax!
