Missy <3's Count D, I don't mean to sound rude, but the way you wrote that, it sounds like you're more upset over not being able to ride for a week than the welfare of your horse. You should just be happy he's alive. My aunts horse broke her leg by slipping in the barn. Her leg got caught in a 6 inch gap between the barn wall and the floor. She had to be put down. Also, my uncles horse got cut on the fence last month, and before they could get out to him, he was dead.
I'm sure you're worried about your horse, and I know you didn't mean it like I interpreted it. I just know too many people who only care about riding, and they don't take care of their horse or care if it gets hurt.
