Hope Gordy and Storm feel better soon. :3
Awesome that Cotton is working out for you! Pictures?
Haha, silly Riply.
Broken: How many horses do you own?
Back from my lesson. :3 I rode Imax. He has this ADORABLE brand on his butt that is nearly invisible - it is a star with an "S F" in the middle for "Selle Francais".
The lesson was great. My trainer just got back from a clinic, and she learned a better way to hold the lower leg and taught me. I picked it up by the middle of the lesson, and having my leg like that gives me a bit more contact and balance. Imax's trot was lovely. We did some trot cavellettis that he obviously enjoyed - the first couple of times he tried to jump it and canter out. x3 Then we cantered, and I was bold enough to try a walk to canter transition with him. I was hesitant because he is so lazy. Uman is great at them, and Imax is a close rival! He actually picked up the correct lead right when I asked him! His canter to the left is nice and comfy, but to the right it SUCKS. I mean, it is so uncomfortable! Just because his butt is weak to that direction, which can be fixed easily with some workouts and lunging with the cavesson. I wish that I could've jumped, but he isn't fit enough yet and my trainer wants to jump him first.
OH - and pretty much all of the students at the barn and our trainers are all getting pads in matching colors. x3 Well, our barn colors. Dover has a sale on the pads, 2 for $14.50 each. So my trainer is ordering them all and we are going to pay her back once they get here. We can choose from light blue with white and navy trim, navy blue with white and light blue trim, or white with navy and light blue trim. Most of us are going for the navy blue with white and light blue trim, coz Navy is our main color. For shows we have to wear navy polos, and we have navy polos, and all the horses have navy halters. And we are getting our initials embroidered on one side and our barn name and logo on the other. <33
