My parents said I could go if I get straight A's throughout middle school. Hopefully this year will go well and then I can go to the camp!

Wow, you live in Cali and you're gonna come out here? 8D Cool. Lots of people from around the country. They have hunter pleasure (on the flat), hunt seat over fences, saddle seat or western to do.

Ohh! Awesome! <3 I must check it out...which were you thinking of doing? Residential or Commuters? Residential sounds cool, but pretty expensive. i read up about it, and I think I'd love to take a break from jumping and try western or saddle seat! I just need some way to pay for it, at least most or half of it!
Oh way, CA to MO is a long way!

I'd have to do Residential, most likely. I'm close, but not THAT close. xD About an hour away, I believe. I'll have to pay for some probably. I'd love to try saddle seat too! You get 2 lessons a day and can choose whatever disciplines you want for the day. :3 One lesson could be western, the other could be Hunters!

Wow they have a camp too? I will SERIOUSLY have to look into that xD Sounds like a lot of fun, and thats really cool that they have all different kinds of classes ;) It is a little bit pricey :/ but maybe I can figure something out with my parents...But it is far away and I am sure the plane ride will also be expensive :( Maybe I could look into it and see if I could go! :)

Mulligan, you make my world go round and I can't stand to see you go.
I'm going to miss you like crazy and I love you to pieces.
You are the love of my life and will always occupy a huge portion of my heart.
I want you to know how much I love you, and our 6 months together have been the best 6 months of my life.
You have been a dream come true and I have been on cloud nine since we first met.
I will never forgot all of the amazing times we've had together.
Enjoy your new home and promise me this, that you will never forget me, as I will never forget you.

Okk so my beautiful little 1 year old Ayasha (or Little One in Native American)suprised me yesterday!! so when we bought her it was in the winter, it was sleeting and windly as heck. she had never been touched and she was 10 months old and very strong! it took 2 and a half hours to get her in the trailer... my grandpa was tired of waiting and was ready to call it quits, when we finally loaded her in the other peoples cow trailer and backed it up to ares and walked her into it. Then i went out yesterday to see if i could get her in for training perposes and just like than she followed me in!!! i was soo proud of her, and it made me very happy to know that she trusts me :) I <3 u

@Christine: You really should! Maybe you'll see Gamzee and I. x3 It would be super fun.

I hacked Uman today, bareback. C: My friend got this silly little lilac and purple fly bonnet that we put on him. xD I got some pictures, he was so cute! But when my trainer lunged him to see if he was going to be crazy, he freaked when it moved, so we took it off. There were 3 others in the ring - a little girl on a pony, this annoying lady on Harley, and another on OB. So it made me nervous. xD I hate riding with a ton of people in the ring. I walked a bit and then trotted, which was comfy. Then I cantered, and it was LOVE. Pure love. My friend video taped me and the other girl, it will probably go up on Youtube, I'll show y'all if it does. Then my friend was going to do some courses, and I didn't want to be in the way, so I got off.
Uman wasn't sweaty, so I just gave him a good curry and brush, gave him some coat conditioner, and combed out his mane and tail. He was so handsome! I let him graze and then I put him in the pasture. C:

And my friend's mom does jewelry, and she is going to make me and the other barn girls bracelets out of our fave horse's hair! It is supposed to be a surprise but I heard her talking to the trainer. xD

Are there any annoying people at your barn, guys? There is this one lady that I really dislike. The one that owns Harley.
She is in her forties and has a 6 year old daughter. They were cleaning off Harley's tack neck to Uman in the cross ties when I was brushing him off. Her daughter asked why her mom was rinsing off the bit. Then her mom (I'll just call her D xD) said, "Some little girl gave Harley a carrot before he went in the ring, that's why" and looked right at me. I smiled thinking that she was talking about her daughter... then her daughter, who I'll call R, said, "I didn't give him a carrot, mommy." and D looked at me and said, "I know, it was another girl." I didn't say anything. R said, "Was it a little girl?" D says, "To me she is, but not to you." And looking right at me, she say, "Little girls shouldn't give horses carrots before they are ridden."
It wasn't me! I didn't say anything, although I would have LOVED to say, "I didn't give him anything, so why do you enjoy being rude to 13 year old girls? Too scared of the people your own size? And have you ever heard of being polite? You could've ASKED me if I gave him a carrot before blaming me for it." D:< And she has been rude to me in the past. Many times. No one else, just me. I've never said anything to her or done anything to her, aside from saying, "Good morning, how are you?".

and the TeleTUBBY now she is F-A-T! Everyone hates her,She tells you to do stuff instead of asking like this time
"Has the yard been swept"
"No"
"SWEEP IT!"
"Im mucking out."

I commend you for your patience Hano - I would've said something. We give our horses carrots before we ride sometimes. What's so wrong about that? >.> And I wouldn't say a 13-year-old is little either. Besides, you sound mature for your age and I would've guessed you were older.

I found out not too long ago that the college I'm thinking about going to has an equestrian club, which is great because I didn't want to give up riding during college. It's also near my house, so I can probably keep Freedom boarded at our stables that I ride at now instead of having to move him. I'm still not a hundred percent sure I'm going there, but I'll be a senior this year and applications need to be in in November, I think, so I think that's where I'll end up. x3 As much as I'd like to just get far away like everyone feels after high school, I'd love if Freedom could stay with my sister's pony as long as he can while I train him because they've been together through the stressful roundup, the pony swim, the auction, etc. and they're best buds.

So I rode Bud the washing machine in my lesson last night. xD He actually did really well though. He barely spooked and he only refused one jump, which was understandable because we got new jumps and he hadn't seen that one before. He was still switching leads and cross-cantering to the point where I couldn't keep up and fix them at the canter. xD We've only had him for about two months, so I think eventually he'll make a great little horse. :3

I do! I love horses they are my life!!!
My story....READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ!!!!!!!!!!!!
I begged my parents to give me a horse. They said no when I was 5 or 6.
Then they looked in to lessons. They said I would be riding!! I was so happy!
I met two horses (my cousin went with me) She petted the spotted one white with black spots)
I looked in to the black horses eyes...I felt freedom running in my heart...I had to ask what their names were. Shadow was the black horse. Patches is the spotted one.
When I was there I asked, "Will I ride on Shadow?" My teacher said no.That his hooves were splitting. So no one could ride him.
She told me he would have to be put down some day. (giving him medicine to make him go to sleep and then die in his sleep.)
I felt Angry and upset.I wanted to save him.Or I would die with him.
I continued to dream about me setting him free and the other horses! We would live in the wild...And live untill we died of old age...But.One day I left the farm because of gas money and it took us a hour to get out there and back. I never rode Freckles,Flash,or Patches again.I never got to say good bye...Before I left, I said to my teacher can I say bye to Shadow before he dies? Even if for some strange reason I leave? She said yes every one will say bye.But One night I looked on the Stable website. It said he was put down. This was a week after he was put down...
Then I rode some where closer.I rode on a horse named Maggie for about a year....Then she got Colic and was put down. She died in May, Shadow died in March. They both died in 2009.Then I rode Maggie's replacement.Remmy!!She is a cross pony! so cute!! I did western on her...Then moved to English!! I still ride English and jump! But this year I moved off of that pony who can be a pain in the butt in mornings!! Now I ride on Lucky!! A Quarter horse mix!! I'm now curently cantering and jumping poles and small jumps on him I am now 11 and proud to ride!!
NOTE: I don't own any of these horses!! THIS IS NOT A FAKE STORY!! IT'S REAL!!!

@ Hanoverian, you have a lot more patience than me, she would have gotten a firm word from me.

Anyway yes, yes there is. So at my agistment there is this guy and he is an ex-jockey, thinks he knows everything and girls can't handle horses (gah how sexist can you be?) well he goes on about how no one can ride and none of them no what they are doing but tells me that I'm okay (yes I'm a girl though), but when I say no he just doesn't listen at all and his ways are awful in my opinion. He doesn't like my horse though and finds any excuse to pick on her now, she is just scared of everything though due to previous owners.
He insists that no one else there knows anything though and is just plain rude to them all, he is selfish and takes the best paddock's without asking anyone else, makes us all move our horses away from the arena so his wife can ride (his wife does this too), tells me I'm to soft on my horse, shouldn't be riding such a green horse, told me I don't know anything and am a total beginner (8 years is not beginner) and basically just find's a reason to tell everyone off. For some reason though he still likes me even though he is pretty horrid to me, if it goes on much longer I'm gonna tell him what's for and go tell A (who runs the place) about him.

Oh and something funny, had a heap of rain here so the little river running through Amber's paddock isn't so little anymore (about 2 meters wide (normally 30 centimeters) and of course to get to the dry patch in her paddock you have to cross the river. Crossed it quite a lot when I visited her XD Amber is just so funny though, every single time she has to cross it she stops to sniff the water, touches it with one hoof, jumps backwards, charges through it then stops on the other side and with such a cute expression turns back to me as if to say "you coming, it's not scary mum" so I just walk through it laughing at my mare's silly antics.

p.s. Has anyone noticed I just can't make a short post XDD All mine end up quite long and drawn out.
