Ah, they are. Looked around a bit. I'm always a bit wary accepting "pocket/king/mini/micro/teacup/etc" as a breed as those are typically mutts or just dogs affected with dwarfism.

Just a few days ago one of the people that call themselves the "Queens Beagle" breeders or Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagle breeder contacted me to inform me she did not appreciate my site or what I had to say about pocket Beagles. Little did she know that her actions would lead to another page to help inform those as to what the Pocket Beagle really was. She went on to tell me that she felt her dogs could likely be related to Queen Elizabeth's dogs. I had to stop from laughing at that comment. What I will do instead is type a sentence directly from the email she sent me. "I will say however that if you had given the Queen Elizabeth site more than a cursory glance you would have learned that there is in fact AKC miniature dachshund bred with AKC beagle to make the breed."

Yes, she admitted that the dog they represent as the Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagle is actually a cross between miniature Dachshunds and Beagles.

I have never seen a beagle of that color but many dachshunds of it. I wouldve guessed mini dachshund if I werent so late to see the post

Theres no such breed as a Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagle. There is only a Beagles.

I just looked up the beagle standard though, and under color all it says is "Any true hound color." I know hounds quite well, and I do not know what that means. And yes Therian, there are only beagles, but it may be from selective breeding they attained a style of beagle and labeled it, but if they are just Beagles crossed with Dachshunds, then its a mutt.
