Lol, everyone's snakes are shedding at the same time! Nyoka's just started her first shed since I got her. She seems to be having a little trouble with it (the skin on her head has come off separately, so now she's struggling to shed the skin on the rest of her body) but I'm just going to keep an eye on her for today and see if she can figure it out on her own.

Any tips to help her out a bit? I've raised the humidity in her viv from 70% to 76%, so I'm hoping that will help. Other than that, I'm not sure what I can do.

If there will be shed left on her skin put her in a finger warm bath in a plastic box and leave it under a heating lamp or a heating map to keep the warm in the water. Leave her in for 20mins to begin with and then try to assist her with taking the shed of gently. Make sure she won't drown in the water though :)

Try adding a humid hide (sphagnum moss in an appropriate sized container) I never had an ounce of troble with shedding after adding one.

Big Cheese has the same prices as Rodentpro from what I've seen. Without a lot of the negative feedback that I've seen Rodentpro get. (Much to my dismay since I just ordered over 200 myself @_@ ). You can do some googling but here's one example (I'd research Big Cheese and other sellers though just to be safe! I've only heard good things about Big Cheese so far)

Oh, you mean the zoonotic disease stuff? haha yeah, I forgot about that but it doesn't worry me too much. Seems like an almost inevitable thing with any company that sells meat.

Mostly with friends' experiences with their orders being inconsistent in size, you can also find reports of snakes getting ill (granted that was a long time ago). And I can't say I'm a huge fan of getting overweight lab surplus. As well as some of the mice I got seem to have skin conditions, very few though. But I figured I should at least mention it since some people are put off by that stuff. ^_^

Try soaking her in warm water, just don't get her head under water ovo
