Guys, what are your options about taking branches from the forest?

Its fine.
If you're really concerned about parasites or something you can stick them in the oven for a while

I see. I was also told it's fine, and a person I know just got a corn snake so I commented on the picture to get her some branches from the forest, and suddenly another person came hacking on me about parasites :l But I suppose I'll stick them in the oven during next cleaning c: Thanks!

Honestly, the risk of that happening with branches is little to none.

For example most monitor keepers run out and fill the enclosures with like 2+ feet of dirt right out of a forest or etc, bugs and all. (not that you can really compare monitors and snakes, but..)

Guys, I am freaking out so bad! (In a good way) I am getting a ball python for Christmas from my husband, and I have been losing sleep because I am so excited XD The cage is nearly ready, I just need a water bowl and the clips for the top of the cage. I think I'll be getting just a normal male, since all of the animals I own except one are female XD I want a little boy :3 I am so excited though!!!

Petco, now why did you do that?
See, we can barely keep the rabbits & pigeons, so adding a fish is fine.
Cheap, for the most part, easy to take care of.
But here you go.. You get a pinstripe, a spider, AND an albino ball python
No, snakes too expensive!
Maybe when dad comes back
But who knows when that's happening
And who knows how long you'll have that spider baby, or the Albino girl.
Now why'd you do that...

Ugh, I shoulda asked to hold the spider. Then maybe I wouldn't be sulking, wanting pigeons, chickens, rabbits, fish and snakes. Last time it struck me though. But... I want to hold it....
Well... Maybe dad'll be back by Christmas. He loves snakes as well :)

I know the feeling ;.;
I went to a herpetology place and got to hold a bunch of babies, I nearly came home with all of them ;.;
