It's a bit off topic, but in a way, we are. We're the most important because we are the most powerful of all animals on Earth. We can do things others cannot, such as build machines and concrete buildings. We have the power to destroy every other animal in this world if we please. That does make us important. It makes us a very important species. It also gives us the responsibility to help protect the other animals on Earth.
If you're talking about things in general, not just animals, then I share your opinion. The sun is more important. The trees are more important. Water is more important, because, hey, everything needs sun and oxygen and water, including us.
/endofftopic.

Elk are aso important because they provide life for hunters like bears and wolves. I'm pretty sure that if something else depends o. You for life your pretty darn important. Nothing depends on us, we have separated our selfs, or they sperated from us. In anyway we are only responsible for ourselfs, really making us very unimportant.

I couldn't agree more.
It's like with dogs; we may have more human intelligence, but dogs can smell things that we could never dream of smelling. We are all different and better than each other in some ways.
There's also the matter of the 'sixth sense' which animals are believed to have, but we are believed to have lost. (Probably due to 'intelligence' and over-rationalizing.) Most animals retreat upon signs of impending danger, while we remain clueless.
