He could have Silver Marten in him.

Do you know his age and weight? It will definitely help!

He sounds like an adventurous boy!

Hi I am Baby bunnies! but you can call me BB
I love to do art. Before December 2014 all art that I did was with a mouse. I now work with a Bamboo tablet. Also please note that I expect something in return for customs, I put time into every piece.
I own rabbits! I love to show my rabbits and and have gotten many first place ribbons, a lot of Best of Breed, Best Opposite Breed, Best of Variety, & Best Opposite Variety awards. My rabbits have also gotten Reserve in Show and Best 6 class. I, personally, have gotten Reserve Champion and Grand Champion awards. I take part in Rabbit Royalty! If you have any questions about Rabbits then please ask and I shall answer as best that I can.

Dang, usually I'm convinced I have the #1 cutest bunny, but he is GORGEOUS.
I never wanted a second bunny until I saw his beautiful coat.. (and I've had my rabbit for going on 7 years!)
Hope he turns out great!

I googled. It's nice but doesn't excite me. xD
Not much excites me; I'm no bunny breeder and I don't typically care about coat colors.

This is my bunny; I've posted her before but not in a while (I don't post in here a whole lot as I have zero interest in rabbit breeding operations and that is often the topic). I adore her but it's not because her coat; her coat is just one part of a whole. Besides, I picked her out based purely on personality. Needless to say it turned out quite nicely. She's destroyed several cords over the years but, impressively, my friend's kittens have already caught up in the past couple months. She's pretty good now; those were all old incidents from years ago. She's often too busy scooting around containers and nosing through my laundry and sniffing out tasty snacks she's not allowed to have.

I have a cat and a bun, and I was wondering if it's okay to let them interact with each other? My bunny, Bunnicula, seems perfectly comfortable with my cat, but the cat tries to slap Bunnicula, so is it okay to let them interact?

It should be fine, I let my dog sniff my day/week old kits but of course our dog is so calm.
I would say it's fine just watch them very very closely.

I'm a genetics geek lol well that's fine I think they are so pretty.
Your babie looks like a broken castor. The best thing is a nice house bunny,
I hate pet stores or people that breed for pet store bunnies. It's just a waste of rabbits
And junk bunnies. Luckly I'm within 4-H and I can give the culls of litters to 4-H family's and
Personally meet people.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed genetics in college (I have a biology degree) but breeding for colors has just never sat well with me; I feel like there's no reason for it beyond 'because I want to'. And, I don't mean that to be offensive - it's just that as a biologist, the idea of breeding animals purely to make certain colors or to adhere to bizarrely picky breed standards (and showing in general) just does not interest me and never will. Of course, I still admire the variety of color in domesticated animals but it doesn't really mean anything to me beyond a historical, cultural, and artificial selection standpoint. To be brief, let me just say that I've also had too much personal experience with people who negatively affected my view and left a bad taste in my mouth, if that makes sense. I have no patience for deliberate ignorance and laziness.

Anyway, I'd never be well suited for breeding anything; I may be a wildlife biologist but I don't need a zoo or farm at home, especially as I like to travel and my boyfriend is in the military out of state. If I ever bred rabbits it'd be for meat; boyfriend has indicated he's up for it but it's still unlikely to ever happen. I adore baby bunnies and raised some ten years ago, but I've been hopping around apartments for the last 8 years. I may have peers buying houses but I'm not financially at that point yet so I wouldn't have the space.

So that's me in a nutshell; biologist with a single bunny and likin' it that way. xD An old fart compared to most of the CS population who's not easily impressed or offended.

yeah i completely understand where you are coming from. I don't think breeding to the point of health problems is good at all. Breeding is not for everyone and not everyone will agree with breeding i respect that. I just have no respect for people that go "every time you buy a dog from a breeder you are killing a shelter dog" which is completely false and that offends me. (you are definitely not one of those lol)

Cute! ^3^

I'm actually been considering getting rid of my hotots and getting dutch... we've not had much luck with the dwarf hotots, we've bought two hotots now from people that can't breed. The person we got the buck from KNEW we wanted them for breeding but yet we can't get a single baby from him, he seems to be infertile, and he's the most disgusting rabbit I've ever seen, he's a sweet boy but he's so gross and with getting no babies we pretty much wasted $50. Same with the doe, but at least she was only $20 and she isn't gross like the buck. Our other hotot buck didn't end up being good quality when he got older, and now we can't find anybody to buy him so it was pretty much another waste of $50 because if I'm going to show I want good show quality. The only hotot that wasn't a waste was my Veronica, she's nice for show, she's a good mom, a sweet rabbit. By far the best hotot I've bought, and we can't find another hotot buck that's decent anywhere. They're all like $150 $200 $300 dollars. Like I can't afford that. You can get a Best of Breed winner for $50 in Polish, they're so much better... I've loved Hotots all my life but to actually own them is proving to be more trouble then it's worth. =/

Sorry for my little rant there. Didn't mean for that to turn into one. xD
