I'll tell you a little true story about my neighbors rabbits and kidsOur neighboors are really close with my family, There is the mother, father and two small kids, the kids are 8 and 6 years old, the mother is best friends with my mom and my dad is best friends with the dad and i often babysit the kids. They had 3 rabbits, a holland lop and two flemish giant cross breeds, Oreo[lop] Bella and Angel. After the first week the lop passed away for no sudden reason, they were thinking she was sick, but she diedThe rabbits are both living out in a tiny hutch in the shed, it seemed fine at first, the rabbits were well looked after the first month, and then i noticed after a while the rabbit dish would be empty for a few days in a row, same with the water dish.Over the year it was the same thing, i'd often sneak over and feed them and you could tell they were hungry because they be trying to eat from it before i even had it layed in the hutch, because the kids NEVER look after them, i asked them once how were the bunnies doing and they had to think for a second because they forgot they had bunnies! Two days ago Bella died, the parents said they didint know why We know why but, the kids said the same and they didint even bother to find out why.Today while i was cleaning my hutch i had run out of clean chaff to put in so i remembered them once telling me if i ever needed rabbit food or chaff then just go over and get some [they make chaff so theres lots] When i went over i filled my bag with chaff then i looked in the hutch and i seen Angel just sat there, her food bowl tipped over, no water. I first picked her up, and when i did it broke my heart, all her bones were just sticking out under her skin and fur, you could feel her ribs, her hip bones were stuck out, her spine was stuck out complety and the poor little thing was limp, but yes alive. I almost cried, i cuddled her close and gave her kisses and cuddles then i put her back in, filled her food bowl, filled up 2 water bottles and put them in and then when i lifted the hutch roof it was just piles and piles of rabbit poop and pee, no chaff the cage was FILTHY. I came back over after and told dad, the rabbit was legit starving.I just don't think they should have rabbits. for one, the kids are to young and have no responsibilty, they only care about their toys, the rabbits are rarely fed and watered and are never picked up or taken in the house half. To make it worse, even the parents don't take the time to tend to the bunnies. This year the kids have lost 42 fish, 8 hampsters, 1 dog, 2 rabbits and a lizard, and then they cry for more pets and there parents buy it for them... it kills me to see it, and you can't even do anything about it because you don't want to offend them, but i'd do anything to take that rabbit and let her live with me, and feed her till she had some weight put on ):

Let me put my story short. Ive owned a handfull of rabbits, that loved me before my depression. I took care of them, but they spread a disease to eachother and died. Except one, my most loved one, got the disease later, and died. Dont worry, they got sick, i was taking care of them fine. One of then died in my arms.
Now i have a newer rabbit. Im happier, but its not the same. People in the house take care of her (her name is Wakko) for me.
I play with her sometimes, but she isnt as friendly with humans and the last rabbits....
So, i dont think i can own rabbits anymore, even if i love them....
My family decided Wakko will go to a loving home, and that we will get a house pig.
My family decided that a pig will be good for me. These pigs get as big as dogs, and are friendly like dogs. A bigger animal that doesnt sit in a cage will be better for me. Ill be able to play with it, and take care of it better.
Now just to find a mini pig owner chat...

I own two lovable pigs and one rabbit also. I had about 10 bunnies in my life and I have to say she is one of my favorite so far. Rabbits are hard to rehome, even more when they are adult. You should maybe pet her more and give her more treats. My bunny gets really mad if I do not pet her. Pigs are very fun and laughable, they are like a dog but a bit harder to take care of. They are expensive (depending on the breed) and if you leave in a place that is cold or gets cold in the winter they need a coat to go out side, witch is hard to find because they are large but have small lets. Pigs should also be kept with a partner. They are cute when babies but they do get uglier. They are clean animals but they do tip over there food bole and water bole since they have a fat chin.
Im getting a mini pig. They grow to 30-45 pounds, and mostly become really fat when fed the wrong food.
These are about the size of dogs.
And i live in FL, so not too cold.
