You'll only get BEW if both parents carry the vienna marking gene. Your BEW buck definitely does, but if the doe doesn't, then you'll never get BEW, just DQ rabbits with some level of white markings on them.

I want lionheads to become a recognized breed. They are recognized in the UK, and I think they're awesome rabbits. I'm sorry that you feel that way about lionhead breeders such as myself.

I've bred him with my black doe and got almost a full littler of BEWs. So it's not impossible, some of my friends just bred the doe then bred all the does from that litter back to the BEW buck. Oh no I wasn't trying to offend you I was talking mainly about the breeders in my area. It's just the way they act, kind of like a my breed is better than yours type thing.

Genetically, it is impossible for a bew to produce bews when bred to a non-VM/VC. Your black doe must be either VM or VC.

sorry I have have been gone from this form for a long time, but school and riding have taken up a lot of time. I do have a question though. It's my dream to show Waffles at the Royal winter fair sometime, but I don't know how the stept to acheve that goal. Right now I'm only showing at local 4-h and other small fairs, but in every one of the shows I have been in with him we have placed first and second. How do I qualify for the royal? Thanks for any advice :3

Well I'v been talking allot about my bunny Asharail, and I have an other question.

She was born in march (I think) and she is already 7 pounds and should get to 10-15 pounds. I would like to breed her but I want her to be her full size before but I also do not want her to be to old and can have problems giving birth. What would be a good age for breeding her?

You can breed a doe at 6 months. How old is she now?

A BEW ((Blue eyed white.)) so cute. I found out both my does are VM so that's why next time I'm going to look at the pedigrees and not have my grandma who knows nothing look at them for me.
