I have a question, is it alright to feed your bunnies Cherrios without the homey flavoring? I was just wondering, because I want to feed them more things for treats other than the store-bought ones I have.

Cherrios are very unhealthy for rabbits, and actually so are many store-bought treats. It's best to just hand feed a veggie to make it extra special. c;

I don't think that a few now and then is going to kill a rabbit, however I wouldn't make it a diet staple!!

I occasionally feed my rabbits raisin bran, as a treat, because I found a really stale box of them in my cupboard, lol.

I also have a doe who's addicted to unsalted pretzels. She begs like crazy for them!!

Charlie, my bunny, likes to chew on wires as well. Hmm, I would recomend a bigger cage. Charlie's is a little more cramped with his litter box so I just sure to offer him plently of play time.

Its the biggest cage I can get XD LOL I'll try to let her loose often.

I have a dutch and a rex, and they 2 of them are easy to take care of. They also are very calm. Lionheads will have to be brushed every day. And personally, I don't really like them... But it's not my choice.

Lionheads are one of the more common breeds actually. They don't have to be brushed everyday, infact they take little to no grooming. I'm not a big fan of them myself but I couldn't resist having some blue eyed white babies.

Rosalind - I use a spray bottle to train my bunnies. I use stream, not mist, and after the first few times, they stopped needing to be sprayed, just seeing the bottle is enough to make them rethink their actions!

Is that an angora, a bit hard to tell when it's in a cage like that even for me. Lol, as for cheerios aren't really unhealthy for your rabbits. Try feeding them a few fruit loops now and then.

Lionheads aren't a recognized breed for the ARBA, so if you're in North America, you can't win legs on him. Once they are recognized, BEW still won't be, as it's not on the current COD

She's the new BEW lionhead I just bought today.

I try to stay away from processed foods for the rabbits. I'm gravitating away from pellet feeding and moving into more of the grains/natural diet. I wouldn't feed them fruit loops because of the sugar content anyway, it's got far too much to be healthy!

The fluffiest lionhead I've ever seen she's very cute though. He's white and white is recognized, so I can show him. You're right though maybe I'll show him at my fair for 4 H I Have no idea. It may seem as though fruit loops are bad for them, but a few of the top breeders in my area feeds them to their rabbits as a treat before shows. Something about keeping their coat in good condition I don't know. Just going off what they said about it for the most part.

Alright, I have another question c: What type of Greens, fruit and such are okay to feed my rabbits. I know about Pineapple, but nothing else, besides carrots and Lettuce.

She's a grumpy guts, already boxed me a couple times. I was warned that she had an attitude before I bought her though, and I'm fine with that. Nothing I can't handle, lol. She's also produced a couple dropping that are strung together by hair, so I've gotta go buy some pineapple tomorrow.

REW and Tortoise are the two on the current COD for Lionheads in North America. Black failed a second presentation in a row, so the presentation at next year's national convention will only be REW and Tortoise. If they pass in 2013, then the ARBA board will vote on accepting them.

I don't really want the lionheads to become a recognized breed. The breeders that I know are just difficult, they think their so bad because they raise lionheads. Darn my typing skills, I have a tort lionhead as well but she's bred to my blue eyed white buck. Hoping for some blue eyed whites to show at my local fair this upcoming year. Now I see from the front she looks angora but when you look at her she's lionhead.
