I know what you mean! Simba sheds like a maniac! Plus all that fur behind his ears gets knotted easily, so I have to brush him everyday.

Tips on convincing my parents into getting me a rabbit? Anyone?

What I did to convince my dad, (my mom was already liked the idea of a rabbit), was I got on the computer and opened up this chart thing (exil for Mac users) and I came up with different reasoned why it would be benafishal to get a rabbit. I show in 4-h so I put something like,"showing a rabbit would teach me more about handling and caring for different breeds." then I took all my points I came up with and put them into a paper and emailed to Him at work. It worked! Good luck :)

Today, I went out to tractor supply because Waffles needed food and bedding. I wanted to get a 25lbs bad instead of my normal 10lbs. I got him Purina rabbit compleat. Is this a good brand? I wish it was made with Timothy hay insted of alfalfa. Also, how can I get him to eat his T. Hay? In the morning, most to all of its gone, but a lot falls into the pan under his cage. When he was a baby Waffles devoured it. I made him a plate of veggies and put in some hay hoping he'll eat it in with the veggies. Thanks :)

I have a lionhead now, but since I was little I wanted a floppy eared.
And yes I checked google, and there aren't any. I might try a shelter...

Check
ARBA.net/breeders.htm#hl that will take you to all registered (with arba) holened lop breeders. :)

Purina can be a good brand. Depends where you are. lol I used it for a while and it was great, but then I wasn't getting any litters for a long time. But if he's just a pet, that part doesn't matter. lol

Maybe getting him a little hay rack will keep the hay from falling to the bottom?
