Yesterday my grandma left the door open and the bunny went out. This is the second time that she did this. We found her about two blocks away and she walked back home with us when she saw us. I was actually quite surprised because she´s actually half ferral and usually won´t even let me touch her unless I´m extra careful and quiet.
So I was wondering what you thought of taking bunnies for walks on a leash, since she seems to enjoy going out.

PS: We did originally have two, but her sister got eaten by some predatory bird. (At least that´s my theory, since she just dissapeared one day.) And now the one that is left seems to be much happier than before. She used to be scared of absolutely everything, but she started getting more confident since the other one is gone. What do you think about that? Is it normal?

Well my bunny likes going out, you can take bunnies on 'walks' but they are nothing like dogs when it comes to that subject. You have to follow them, you can't lead them around. The best way to let your bunny run around outside safely is having a bunny run. Making some outdoor cage that predator's can't get it, and your bunny can't get out of. Plus you need to supervise.

I had a little orange netherland dwarf for quite a while and I put him in a harness. he loved it! I also did some little agility jumps with him. He was very good. I miss that little guy...

My lion head, Simba, just sits there when he is on a harness. He will hop around a little, but once he finds some nice grass to nibble on he doesn't move! haha and sorry about your rabbit!

LOL yeah, I've got some lazy bums too.
He was one of my favorite rabbits that I've ever had. His name was Saves the Day. I called him Savvy. lol

lol well, I use photobucket, but you upload them to a image host (like photobucket) and then they have a "direct link" that you copy and paste into the image tags [img]and[/img].

I had to clean trays yesterday... my favorite job!

I have five castor babies right now and a few newborns from my blue otter doe. Still trying to figure out the colors from hers.
