Domesticatign foxes? LOLOLOLOL
No.
Your dad is smart. A baby fox- which will grow up into a larger, adult fox, I hope you're aware, is not a good pet. Sure, there are people who own wild animals. But if they're raising the animals properly, they have spent quite a deal of money($1000s of dollars), and are spending a great deal of time making sure they're comfortable, and in most cases they aren't.
What will you feed it? Dog food? Uhm, no. Foxes are wild animals. They need to have a proper diet, failure to do so can result in big problems.
Oh, and food is just a small problem when you add up all the other expensives you'll need. Space? Shelter? Where would you keep it? In your house? Good luck with that. Unless you have a pretty huge yard, that animal will not be abloe to feel comfortable or safe. It will get restless and likely be drawn mad.
If you ever want to get a fox- or any wild animal, for that matter- you'll need to do a great deal of research. And no, I don't mean looking up "caring for foxes" on Google and looking at three pages of a website. I mean serious, reliable sources- whether it be experts, books, etc, and years of research and consideration.
Just take the poor animal to a wildlife center. Are you really so selfish you'd rather have the animal in your home and have it suffer, or will you take him to a center where he will be cared for with great care from people who actually know what they're doing?
(And, for whatever reason you can't take him to a wildlife center, release him back into the wild, right where you found him. It's better than having him confined in a tiny, stuffy house.)
