It was definitely more similar to the webbing movement but it actually raised its abdomen. So it went from being vertical with the body to horizontal. Anyways, thank you for the help c:

That's so strange, I can't think of many pets more apartment-friendly than a tarantula. O_o

I know right? It's heartbreaking. I only have my brazilian black girl left but I have to leave her with my brother. It's funny cause my birds are allowed? They do more damage than anything. Maybe they think I havve a budgie.. not an african grey who likes to rip up door frames 🌝

I love jumping spiders! It’s so amazing that such tiny creatures are able to see so well! I’ve let a family of them live in our house, and it always tickles me to watch them turn and look at me when I pass by!

Hello! Wannabe-entomologist here! Has anyone here ever worked with insects as a career? I’m looking for some advice about what you went through, and what you did to make your dream come true!

Woohoo more spider lovers! Hai I am Mel, I have a rabid wolf spider named Sexi. I found him at work in a clean room (they detest bugs being near medical stuff) and so I put him in a sample baggy and took him home. He was starvin and ate two whole baby crickets as soon as I got home.
I am sort of obsessed with him, I take lots of pictures and videos of him hunting lol Have some babi pics!

I dont think I am brave enough to have a large spider, but I love small ones. Yall should show your babies. :B

What’s the best beginner species of tarantula in your opinion? the absolute most docile.

According to The Dark Den and Exotics Lair Ive beard the Acanthoscurria geniculata (Brazilian White Knee) is?

They look like amazing eaters (even before molting) and they’re extremely docile?

I also love the look of the Hapalopus sp. Colombia (Pumpkin Patch) they're so adorable!

Anyone here good at IDing millipedes? I saw a bunch of them today, pretty huge bois, the longest I saw being like eight inches if I had to guess.
All opossums are good opossums
