- Chihuahua's have such a case of big-man syndrome. They just don't know when to stop.
Atlas tried to pick a fight with a crow, who was taller than him, but the crow didn't even flinch as I tugged him away.

Speaking of small dogs v big dogs:
I remember a chihuahua coming up to Winston once or twice while we were at the park and yapping at him and like snapping at his ankles, and Winnie just kept walking like nothing was happening -- totally off with his head in the clouds, he just looked at me and walked ahead. This tiny dog was getting so mad and I just found it hilarious that it saw the biggest dog in the park, and decided to that that was the one it wanted to fight xD
It's owner quickly came a picked it up, apologising, but I was just proud of my boy for not eating it lol.

I think that I really need to get Atlas into some puppy-training lessons.
I have no one with a dog that I can get him socialised with, and no nearby dog parks or closed off beaches.
So far, my 3lb chihuahua has barked at 2 alaskan malamutes, 2 german shepherds and a staffie, in the span of three walks.
He isn't aggressive or anything, a nice lady let him sniff her elderly golden retriever/lab and he licked 'em.
Flerken. wrote:So. Gizmo absolutely refuses to walk with out a lure of some kind. If I take a string, or a stick then he walks just as happy as can be. If I forget, or put the lure down for longer than a minute or so, he stops and sits/lays down and can not be compelled to walk on his own.
Any ideas?

I know this is the period of greatest growth - but it is still crazy just to see how much they change in such a short time. He looks like a dog now, not just a rolly puppy xD Those ears though. They're being super obstinate, I want them to stand all ready.
Puppo did spike a fever yesterday. So between he, and my Houdini cat that snuck into my back yard, jumped the fence and was bitten by my neighbors dog (she's fine, just a big scratch on her nose) I have spent a lot of time at the vets this week.
