OH. MY. GOSH. SO. MUCH. FLUFF.
✞ I believe in Jesus Christ my Savior, and I am not afraid to admit it.
I asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" Jesus replied, "This much." And He stretched his arms on the arms on the cross and died. ✞

Gizmo, the dog I'm watching/training this weekend. Shes very scared of me right now but we're trying to gain trust by walks and treats. Shes a bit fat lol.

Aw, she looks sweet. Maybe try some games for her, playing should help gain her trust. And don't underestimate the value of a shared nap, lol.

we sat outside in the front yard while i brushed her and fed her some treats. We're friends now 😂 we also played some impulse control and downstay games!

The way she is built is such a bad example of the breed though. Def. A backyard breeder pup. She's happy and healthy though, thats what matters right now.

AHHHHH We start our CGC prep class today with Reven, and I'm so nervous!!! I feel behind because I wanted to let my husband have a chance at training him too. But he's 9 months now! And huuuuuugeee!!! He's almost 20in tall!! WHAT!!!??? Gimli is 24" but still... he may be a mix, Reven isn't! He's still intact so I can't wait to see how he fills in!

We just finished his Star Puppy a month ago! I also ended up reporting the trainer we went through. I worked for Petco at one point as a trainer, so I was like, hec, it's cheap, and it's a harder environment, we'll start there. She sucked. So bad. I went to her mentor's store and watched one of the clients hit her dog while yelling sit; a golden puppy, maybe 7 months old. There were only two dogs in the class, and neither dog wanted to do their recalls... I don't know what was happening there, but that isn't Petco standard, and she's obviously a horrible mentor because her student can't teach either... Wow. I ended up reteaching my husband as we went. The couple next to us caught on and started following us. I feel bad because the other dog in the class literally learned nothing. And neither did the owner. I wasn't going to report the store... but those people, and us, wasted our money. It's heart breaking too because they really could have been doing better.

Anyway!! I'm excited for CGC, my next goal is to start Rally-O and some competition Obedience. I want to do conformation since I never have, but my dog has two faults.. I'm not sure how serious that is or if it's worth it then.

Here's a great article I found the other day, it talks about the "American Dream" Dog and why it isn't how the world works. Hopefully it will help those of you who feel your dogs are 'bad' or not as well mannered when they act like a dog.. It isn't you, or your dog. It's society and our ideals that we want out of our dogs. https://www.infinitek9.com/blog/2019/2/ ... NnbnXCIwcA

Here's a pic of Reven! He's so handsome! I was playing with lighting to get better pictures. He was very concerned with his graduation hat. XDDDD

Malady’s name has been explained to me before but I don’t remember the exact details lol. Basically it’s to do with her registered name which has to do with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Malady means illness.

O started muzzle training today! Finally! Lol naturally she’s perfect and within 5 mins was happily wearing hers, compared to the weeks Kes took 😂

WOAH, pretty much!! Reven doesn't have any caramel coloring though, he's pretty much just brown, red, and white with lots of red ticking on his body! But they have super similar eye patches too!! Very handsome! A picture together would be so cute!
