No, you're not, dogs can be bored. Sometimes it's unavoidable when we're sick. Training games (try capturing a new behavior) and puzzle toys are a great way to entertain her. Make her work for her food, if you feed her kibble throw the kibble at piece at a time across the room so she has to get it to give her some exercise. Some people also throw the kibble in the yard and use the grass as a snuffle mat.
Do you have, or can you hire, someone to help you excercise he until you get better.

omg dogs eating cupcakes is precious.
I've never made birthday treats for my pets before but Winston's 4th birthday is coming up sometime in November (I suppose I'll have to decide on a day), and I love dogs' reactions so I'm going to have to bake him a cake ♥
On a more serious note,
and I can't recall if I've asked about this before,
but what type of Kong would you recommend for a young energetic greyhound who doesn't get much stimulation?
I'm asking because I want to buy two for my family friend's greyhounds — Ruby's half-brothers.
They're hardly exercised and kept in pens most of the day because they're untrained and kill their other animals, and I can't report because 1) anxiety, and 2) they'd know it was me because I've tried to talk to them about it before. Plus I don't want them to hate me, I know they love them since they're the puppies of two of their older dogs who died but they just don't really care for them? The middle child of the dogs owners is my actual friend and she's the only one that walks them and she tries but she can't do much since she's just a kid and her mum says she's too busy when she tries to talk to her about them.
The pups are a bit stir crazy I think so I thought getting them some toys to keep them occupied instead of sleeping or barking all day was something I could do to help while I help my friend work up the courage to ask her dad to build them a fenced in area on their land where they can actually run around like greyhounds are supposed to do.
They're pretty wild so I need something they won't destroy instantly that'll keep them occupied throughout the day.
(Nothing too expensive, please, I need to buy two since they're housed separately)

I think your heart is in the right place but unfortunately actual hard excersize is what they ultimately need. Howweevveerr I will recommend they only toys I trust for unsupervised play.
Kongs, the original no nonesense standard red or black rubber toys, none of the squeaky toys or soft toys. XL or xxl size. These can be VERY expensive though.
JW Holey Rollers in the extreme black style, way more affordable.
Jolly Balls are also wonderful and built tough. Also affordable especailly if you check feed stores as they are often sold as horse/pig toys.
Goughnuts are nearly indestructible and come with lifetime replacements which I really like
eleutheromania
The eskie would be Kasper xD
The base recipe is based per cupcake.
3 tablespoons of Peanut Butter
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg

hi! i’ve posted this before but i’m going to be the mom of an adorable pointer puppy very soon! and i’d appreciate some advice n_n
yesterday our vet warned us that where i live is a hotspot for parvo and he doesn’t recommend taking our puppy out and around until 4 months of age. that means he could miss his opportunity to socialize if we keep him at home. i’m pretty worried... we’re going to ask the breeder for some recommendations but i’d like to know if anyone here has ideas how to approach this issue as well. thanks! (:

As far as I know, they don't own a treadmill nor live near a track. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, the only things around is a large village and pig farms.
I can suggest biking though, thank you c:
They own a few horses, but since the boys have never been trained/socialised with other animals, it's likely they'd just worry the horse.
It's sad, they're in the cages because they don't get on with the other animals because they were never –and likely will never be– taught how to behave around them.
