Woah;; we agree on a lot. My faves are TBs and AQHs.
I own an AQH named Baloo, he can be a bit of a brat but I love him. :3

As for TBs (thoroughbreds), they can be very high strung but they're a joy to ride as long as you know how to ride them. Most of them don't have temperaments suited for beginner riders. Same goes with the Quarter Horse, but for different reasons. They are so intelligent. If someone put a beginner rider on a Quarter, most likely the horse would figure out a way to get away with everything, like popping the shoulder, hanging on the bit, cutting corners, etc.

That isn't to say all TBs and AQHs are like that, but that is the general breed temperament.

Appaloosa's all the way! And Quarter Horses! Anf I absolutly adore Shetland ponies if they count! And I LOVE Mustangs!
