She could have a torn ACL, a genetic thing, we just don't know yet. Vet gave us pain meds for 3 weeks and if the issue goes on she gets an x-ray to see what is happening.
She has been limping so bad but when she takes the pain meds she thinks the pain is gone and goes INSANE.
Probably her border collie energy popping out..
Doesn't help she can't have long walks for these three weeks, so short walks are not helping.
Also, she has been destroying toys like crazy, she is clearly bored. I don't have a clue what to do with her since she can't really any energy go, she isn't even allowed to go in the backyard herself because she gets too wild!!
My mom has had to hold off on a bath because she gets BAD zoomies after a bath...
Any tips on how to have her get the needed energy out without injuring herself more? I did read that working on training can be a cool source of energy burning, but i am not exactly sure that will hold her steady for probably two more weeks at the least.
