So... Unfortunately my poor little puppy had to make a trip to the vet today. Starting on Monday she had diarrhea. It got a little bit better and she was eating, drinking and acting normal so we decided to wait and see if it was because we over did the treats on Sunday (which did add to the issue a bit), and it seemed to be getting a bit better. Last night it started getting worse though, and for the past two nights she has been having multiple accidents at 3-5 am, as she can't hold it.

So we took her to the vet asap this morning as it was a lot worse, and apparently she has whipworm. Apparently it takes like 4-5 months to hatch (if I remember correctly), so she must have got it as a little puppy before we ever got her the vet said, since she turned 5 months old today. She also had a bit of a fever, and started acting less energetic once we got home from the vet, and her stomachs hurting her. All dogs are now being treated, and we are hoping that Ruby will be fully recovered in around 48 hours according to the vet. I just wish that my poor puppy wasn't in pain... I can't help but feel bad for her!

Loving all the adorable dog pictures!

It's such a nice day out I took Chloe for a walk. I was planning on taking her down this side court, but she wanted to go the other way so we went around the horse shoe we live on instead. Found out one of our neighbors across the street has a Rottweiler and what looks like a Westie mix. The Rottweiler barked as we approached (we were on the other side of the street) but it was the Westie mix that barked the most once it caught sight of us. Terriers, lol. Luckily they have a real fence so I wasn't too worried, though of course I carry dog repellent just in case. The owner came out and called them in, which I appreciated.

Other than having to pry some other animal's poo out of her mouth at one point I think the walk went well. She managed to mark three other yards (we don't have a side walk so it's an unwritten rule that the end of people's yards past the drainage ditch gets used like one). One time I caught sight of her going and only one drop of urine came out, she gave it her all kicking her scent around on the grass. I had to admire her dedication.

Pete does this thing we call "pee position", where he'll get into position but won't urinate. He does this all the freaking time, and then he kicks up dirt like a storm. I think the only reason he drinks water is to reload, lol.

My new neighbors moved in. They have a HUGE dog, I'm talking like great dane mixed malamute. Pete likes her, JJ does too but since she's in heat she's being a jerk so I haven't let them really interact. She also met the dog's owner, who gave her lots of kisses, lol.
