Ah, Pete scared a dog who came up to say hi so bad that she urinated on the floor the other day. He growled and lunged at her, since he can be reactive with big dogs if he doesn't like something about them, I had him behind me on a short leash, but it still freaked her out. I took JJ up to say hi to that dog later, without Pete, and they liked each other a lot. From what I gathered while talking to her owner, she wasn't very well socialised as a pup so her reaction to Pete was just fear.

I currently own a great dane called Zeus, he's a great dane with a great personality :D Although he's more of a couch potato. I was actually thinking of getting a new dog so that Zeus can finally meet someone new, I really adore english golden retrievers but I hear that they are a very expensive breed :what: Might as well go for pound pets, they're usually cheaper and adopting is better than buying.

My rescue australian cattle dog was bit tonight by a dog in our neighborhood. It isn't a puncture bite, just a bad bruise, but poor baby is stressed. She was so scared, I was too!! I want to give her tons of treats to make her feel better, but then she will get chunky so I am sticking with cuddles. What have you all done when your pet was injured or scared by another animal?

I tried taking a full shot of her but she moved as I snapped the photo xd
My cousin, who lives around the neighbourhood owns that lil pupper c: She doesn't have much time taking care of this lil fluff and would sometimes bring her to my house for me to take care of it as well. Zeus adores Cookie (which is the dog's name) and the size compared to the both of them is a huge difference  If anyone asks, Cookie is part papillon and part Pomeranian.
