@Dia

Forgive me for not explaining properly, had a headache while writing that out last night.

The wheel I'm looking at is a bucket wheel- they're just considerably cheaper than the other bucket wheels I've looked at.
There's like, 3 sellers than have them around the £30 mark, give or take a couple of £'s (including the Carolina Storm), and then this one that has the, made to order, for £15. They're the only one to do "12, and all the reviews are really good.
This is one of their wheels.
Image

They can also do a lot more colours, and are brighter coloured, than the other sellers, which is why I find them prettier :P They look sturdier compared to the others too.

-nuzzles in here-

We are buying a hedgie from a breeder soon. They aren't born yet, and the suspense is killing me! XD
There is two litters that we will have to choose from. ;v; All of this breeders herd comes from non WHS
lineages, which go back 5 generations. n-n

We lost our rescue hedgie a few months ago to cancer. And its time to open up our home to another little
puffball pin cushion <3 We are soooo excited. ;D; We are leaning towards a boy, which will be named Zwei.
(brownie points if you know where the name comes from!). QvQ

Anyone want to see pictures of the parents? And let me know which pair you would choose a baby from! >U<

I'd go for the first pair, mostly because I really love the coloring of those babies. <3

Of course, I did end up picking Thea based on her personality moreso than color.

Yeah we would like more of a cuddly lazy hog than a outgoing adventurous hog but
honestly we will love them no matter what. XD The breeder seems to have quite a
few good reviews from people for having healthy and friendly hoglets. ;v; They are
also members of Hedgehog Breeders of America, The International Hedgehog Association,
Hedgehog Welfare Society, and the International Hedgehog Registry.

I also love some of the coloring on the babies from the first pair's first litter. That cream
color is just beautiful looking. <3 I also love how a ton of the babies ended up getting
the mom's little light marking on the face.

Its just such a cute little trait that a lot of her babies seem to have gotten ;o;

EDIT:

Still no babies ;o; They are overdue now [at 59 days] and its really starting to make me nervous
for the mamas. ;m; I read that the average gestation for hedgies is around 35-40 days... Come
on little babies, you are going to really be a pain for your mommas if you stay in any longer! On
the upside though, at least they will (most likely) be very fat and healthy babies due to their
long incubation in all that mama hedgie belly! QuQ

They might not even be pregnant, if it's been that long. I know from chatting with breeders that it's notoriously difficult to tell with hedgies, and that even ultrasounds can be useless. Only surefire way to know is if babies show up, since they don't really have "signs" XD

The breeder says that they have gotten bigger as the days go by, especially KT. So I don't
know. I hope there is hoglets in the near future! QoQ I hope they weren't just stuffing their
little hoggy noses with food and getting fatter to trick us! XD
