Does anyone here fish? I love fishing, and getting them for my pond. Today, I went fishing with my dad and sister, we caught 14 fish. I caught a bass and two speckled trout, my sister caught two speckled trout, then my dad caught 9 speckled trout (he's a good fisher lol) So I have a bass and 2-3 trout for my pond, and my dad is cleaning the rest of them. I almost cried because I didn't want him to clean them, I know it's the way of life, but he dumped them all into the grass, then he was holding one, and threw it to the ground, so after that he said he was not going to fool with it since he didn't want to here me complaining about it, so we put them back into the bucket and where going to take them to the pond, but then my dad then said he didn't think they'd make it, so he told me to just go inside and let him clean them. I HATE killing poor fish like that
i love fishing! me and my dad go to a creek behind our house and fish, we are catchers then releasers, we throw them back and let them live then kill and eat, I eat fish but more saltwater than anything. it is sad that a fish has to be killed like that, I would like them to die quick and easily if that was the case, if not then letting them live is the best thing to do
@ Lord Spike: he will be fine, he eats and is active, flares at the mirror or my other betta fish, i just hate that he will have big eyes from now on, but I will take that any day over him having fin rot or dropsy
